Title: Poloniex problems
Post by: scottmazzy on June 10, 2017, 02:07:05 PM
I have had it happen twice where I placed an open order for SC (Siamcoin) to be sold, turned off my computer and then the next morning logged on to Poloniex and found that my open order had not been sold during the night when the price had established itself at the sell price I had placed.  Do I have to be logged on to Poloniex in order for an open order to be placed?

No you don't have to be online.

Have you filed a ticket when you first encounter this?

Withdraw all of your funds out of polo now. I have been waiting for 20+ days on my withdrawal of a few hundred dollars of BTC/LTC. They won't process it.

Many others are in the same boat. They don't respond to support tickets, they don't respond to emails to their support@polo email either.

Polo is a big scam and I think they are insolvent. Seriously get your money out of there. Many many many people are having the same problems. Some people have 30+ days waiting.

Excuse me Scott,

@iluvpie60,

Sir if you are unable to withdraw, then Scott might not be able to withdraw as well. I suggest not to withdraw it. It will just stay on 'waiting for approval'.

Scroll page down to bottom. Than find and click "contact support". Login there and submit ticket.

Im bot trading and getting more 422 errors as usual the Demand for using plnx simply exploded with the crypto bubles so once that hype is over we will see if polo is still there with improved servers or if they ran with our money.

Why would they scam you for a few hundred bucks? That sounds very weird to me.

I really don't condome their support services, they are extremely slow, but if you have lets say ~10 moderators, and over a million users weekly, I think things might get a bit harder.

I'd imagine they are recruiting new people but that takes time aswell.

Are you trying to withdraw fiat or are you trying to withdraw bitcoin? I ask because at least for what I can red in your response I'm not able to discern which is it and it will be for the best of the members of this forum to know which is the case.

lets make something clear about "price had established itself at the sell price I had placed" part:
for example if you placed at order to sell something at 10,000 satoshi and price went above 10,000 (like 10,001) satoshi and your order was not filled then that is a problem.

but if you placed it on 10,000 satoshi and price went to 9,999 satoshi obviously your order won't be filled.
also if price went up to 10,000 exactly and your order was not filled, it can still be understandable because your order was in a queue and there were other orders in front of you at the same price that needed to be filled.

Don't deal with poloniex - I put my verification items into the system months ago, they still haven't verified me

I'm stuck only able to take out 2000 usd per day.

Does anyone know why poloniex support is so bad?
