Quick and cheap transactions with the introduction of Zerocoin soon it could shoot up more. Check out their site and their slack, they have a pretty good community.

Just go to google and search up "anonymous altcoin" and you'll be greeted by a nice article at news.bitcoin.com listing the top 3 and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Or, you could just use a bitcoin mixer. Imo unless you're doing really dodgy crap there is no need for a mixer at all, nor any altcoin. I think it was similar to monero, based of the same tech, but monero took over. I think verge is more anon than monero currently. http://vergecurrency.com/
