Why is it bitcoin  having a hard time passing the 3000$ wall?  Do you know whats the reason behind this undestructible  wall, or bitcoin already reached its highest price .whats your opinion about this?

Maybe because of the upcoming network splitting, some are having second thoughts of what might happen to bitcoin and their investments. We all know that every time there are upcoming splitting, most users sell their bitcoins making a huge dump, I think after these August, price will be pumping up again.

i know it doesn't count but it just happened on bitfinex and it's been above it for quite some time in china.

Really? I can't see that but sure as hell hope that you're right. $2946 on Stamp at the moment, I can see us passing $3000 today.

Lol. It is happening right now. Hold tight. We should be able to touch 3200 to 3500 before July ends if this trend continues. I think 4000 to 5000 this year is very very  possible. July 1 Australia is officially adopting bitcoin too and if I got it correctly, it is without tax.

This is gonna happen in a very short time period, maybe within few minutes. The price of bitcoin is just 20$ away from bitcoin to reach $3000 based on the price of few exchanges. So as an user mentioned holding tight and buckle up as we're getting closer to the take off.

Current price today $2,938 sooner or later we will see that the price will touch at $3,000 value that i think it can trigger other traders to sell their bitcoin so we will experience of huge dump soon so just be watch about the price and we will see we will have a new goal after reaching this price.
I saw right now busy watching movement of the price in bitcoinwisdom their prediction that the price can be touch more than $3,200 value and crash after touch..

We are really near there and as of now the price is $2976.42 dollar, so hold your horses because the wall that you are talking about is about to get crush, but since we are talking about bitcoin we can never know what kind of fluctuation it can move if it is going up, we are secured in getting to $3000 something or the $4000 mark value, but it goes down, many have sell their bitcoins because again the emotions out of fear that they might not profit is real and can really happen,

We just break the barrier of $2900  already and it's currently 2940 on preev.com so expect more or less tomorrow or maybe later we will reach $3000 so soon enough :D

Seems like there is some resistance here, I really hope we can power past $3000 today. It'd be so bullish. Buy whilst you can still afford to gentlemen.

That's what I'm thinking,  but there does seem to be a lot of resistance.  In any case, it's around noon where I'm at and I suspect we'll hit $3000 by 5pm or so.  Nutty!  That means more shitposters than ever are going to be dogpiling up in this forum, trying to get into sog campaigns...and fees are going to be higher.

BitFinex made a new ATH already, $3003! Sure it was just for a very short moment and triggered sell orders instantly.BUT this is the first step. Other western exchanges trading in USD might follow soon.

I think you are not watching the market in yobit the price went high till $2960 and if i am not wrong today or tomorrow we can see the price crossing $3000 mark very soon.

I'm more interested in when this wild growth will end and the correction will start. Correction in the long term can lower the price to $1500. And maybe we're on the threshold of it.

currently at $2978.22 at coinbase so i wouldn't be so sure about any kind of timing about when bitcoin price reaches what anymore! things are crazy and are breaking all the patterns so far.

Bitfinex finally has eaten through $3000 a few hours back -- $3003 to be precise. Once again one of my earlier predictions has gone to waste, but I am not too proud to admit that. China on the other hand is now heading towards the $3100 level. If this continues, we might come close to the $4000 level before the end of this month. Those that were waiting for a correction are getting even more frustrated. :D

When China goes we go it seems if they are at 3100 it is a matter of hours before we.... break on through to the other side!

I do not, because most of them are stored in altcoins and during these six months got good profit.
But I understand that it will end soon. I'm not even sure that the $4000 will be taken this year.  :)

I was more referring to people that have sold their coins too early, and are now waiting for the price to come down with a bag of fiat. From what you say, it excludes you from the people I was referring to. Other than that, if there is enough demand, and that's definitely the case, we'll at least attempt to reach the $4000 level. If it doesn't happen, then no big deal as the price has literally shattered every prediction of mine.

It seems Bitcoin is going to break $3000 barrier, it is over $3000 in our exchange but I am not sure about the other exchanges.  It will not be long before we see Bitcoin breaking $5000,  there are still lots of good news for bitcoin so definitely we will see a huge increase in this coming weeks.

Man we are going to blow past this $3000 hard in the next few days. It seems to me that bitcoins don't stick around the even $1000 or $2000 mark they just pop up to $2200 or so. Let's see if its the same at $3000 though.

Some crazy resistence to breakthrough 3k, we breezed through 2 k. I think once we past 3 k we keep climbing for a bit!

Other exchanges still having a hard time passing through 3000$.  But they will follow sooner or.later.
For now lets enjoy the new ath. Cant wait to see and hear more good news about bitcoin.

There will be a rise in mining difficulty next adjustment for sure, and some weak hands will absolutely dump their coins which only makes the best

Yeah yeah I got caugh in the moment I said I did not mean a huge selloff just on bitcoinwisdom the value decreased really fast in a few seconds then we pulled away from almost passing 3k. Bad post.on my part!

The price of bitcoin as of now its very high its already $2800 maybe tomorrow the price will reach $3000 and I hope it will happen so we can make a lot of profit if the price hit that. I hope the price of bitcoin before the end of this year maybe around $5000 if this happen for sure many people become instant millionaire. And I hope I become millionaire soon.

Broke $3,000 today!

Now the price is moving quite good and soon it will be reaching $3000 as few exchanges has already provided with a price above $3000. The normal price right now is just a few dollars away. So on the whole we can start speculating all about the next price target, which might be $3500.

Just dont be too fast mate, just like the saying slowly but surely. Maybe after a week or two will see bitcoins price get up to $3k. Bitcoin is just getting ready to pump again and just preparing some pushing power fron us, especially those whales. Dont worry will be on that price soon.

Don't worry. $3000 will be touched soon. I like how the price swing is doing daily, we don't want to have a price that is climbing very fast because it may cause some crashed later. Yes, steady but surely would be the thing. No doubt that in about a few weeks time, $3000 can be reached. I just hope that it will be sustainable though, I'm just worried that it we reach $3000 casual investors will sell because its like I psychological barrier. I just hope I'm wrong again.

Bitcoin is known for steady growth. So, people should have patience. We will surely gonna reach $3k soon. This type of bitcoin growth is genuine and doesn't end into tears.

Bitcoin just went past the three thousand dollar barrier for some time and could not hold for a longer time and went down a bit after that,i hope we could see a good healthy rally which could surpass the barrier in the coming weeks,i am sure once it breaks and holds for some time we could reach $3500 in no time.

Bitcoin increased +200% this year alone, and you call that steady growth? Steady growth is when the price more or less increases like 50-100% in a full year.

It has been a wild rally that not many people here could have seen coming. That being said, I have no doubt that we'll break through the $3000 mark this year, but I don't mind it stretching out all the way to the end of this year.

I like to see some steady growth instead of the rushing to constantly higher levels. Don't forget that we have to maintain these levels as well, and sustainability forms gradually.

Indeed for now because of the ever-changing price of bitcoin movement of the bitcoin unstable thus making erratic market price, but I believe and trust must be the price of the bitcoin numbers broke through the $3000 later this month may even penetrate the numbers $5000 bitcoin later this year or gifts for Christmas this year

Did you see the price today this time we are experience of price hit at $2,900 but after few hours ago there a large dump happen and the price was crash back to $2,700 value and i think $3,000 value it takes longer time to reach this price..
Hope this end of this month we will see a good movement and see more stable at $2,900..

Pretty much all coins are in the red except ether. This coin is becoming quite the pain in the ass for me :'(

I think there are still many opportunities to stay higher than 3000USD. Wall 3000USD is not for a reason, this is a strategy that is usually done by investors and traders. They do this strategy to take a chance. Besides that the demand for bitcoin in the market is the reason for the rise and decrease of bitcoin price.

Well there's another correction happened and that is just a normal move for bitcoin. Once other investors started to come in and buy bitcoin for their chasing of potential lose for sure we will see bitcoin hit the barrier of $3k. So my suggestion just don't hesitate and just keep on holding as we will see the price reach it very soon.

We still don't know why bitcoin is not breaking into the $3000 price wall, but we all know that it will, it just making a huge swing before it strikes. We can't just say that the price of ether is just a bubble, and I think that is a good thing because these is the first year where bitcoin has it's own rival. Most of other digital currencies can't follow bitcoin.

Competition is always a good thing. Bitcoin now occupies a monopoly position in the crypto currency market. And so we feel some inconvenience with the transactions. Maybe if bitcoin has a competitor, bitcoin will be improved

I am confident and believe after looking at the movement of the bitcoin so quick and soar at this time, making his high value price bitcoin is already approaching the numbers $3000 as possible until the end of the month it will certainly happen because now only bitcoin reach $2800 ;)

I also observed that these past days. Maybe the 3000 USD wall is a bit high for now. I say that Bitcoin is still preparing itself for its leap on that wall. Bitcoin to reach that high needs more demand in the market and that demand should be met when Australia formally accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment. We will just have to wait a bit longer.  ;)

Bitcoin has not yet reached its highest price for this year, and no one knows when will we see it breaking the $3000 price wall as well as the reason why it can't pass through that price yet . Although In the current situation bitcoin really seems to be having a hard time but I am sure that it will hit the said price which all of us are expecting maybe not immediately but sometime soon it just takes time ;D . We don't have to be eager for bitcoin to hit $3000 , the current value is very close to that and it is moving up somehow so probably in the next few months we can already see it breaking the wall we will just be surprised one day ;D

As expected when price hit the 3000$ mark ,there will be a short panic selling that was made by profit takers, and made the bitcoin price to went down immediately.

don't be too pushed from there. just wait and the right time will come right away on us. the next rally will be up to $4000 so if i were you im gonna invest more on btc and just watch the graph of bitcoin price to push up to $4000. im having a good time in bitcoin right now because the price of bitcoin is insanely increasing than i expect.

Still this price of $3000 under in an unpredictable situation for now, some were doing more dumps and pumps is also happening now. That's one of these reasons why price is not progressing to that higher price at the top of $3000, well more people really hopes this to come but we didn't know when will it become a reality. But for me the best thing to do is, just trust bitcoin's capability to influence good traders and generate more users so that we will reach the goal for that price.

In next few weeks or in next few months or may be end of the year or may in the next year..

no one knows when exactly it will happen..so the best thing would be to enjoy the success ride with bitcoins at a moment and have fun.

This is predictable and many members believe BTC will hit 6k after SegWit implementation, and after BTC finally fix problems with transactions speed. Best tool for geting more cheap coins is mix of panic and fear, and will happend when people start with dubts..Stay calm and wait, this is best what you can do.

I don't want to expect and predict that bitcoin's price will soon be seen at $3k but I know it will happen.

What I'm going to do now is just depend on what's happening with the current price movement as I can't do nothing with it.

It's better to sleep and upon waking up I'll check the price immediately, there's no stress on this routine.
