I'd say some golem.

Some Aragon..

Even though I don't know much about it, I'd definitely say some STRATIS.

Then just hold some ETH.

Altogether tho, you have to be flexible. If some news come out that a company is crash and burning you gotta know when it's time to let go. Or time to buy more!

monero (XMR)

Why monero instead of Dash,PIVX or cloakcoin?

I recommend Ethereum and the token of Dcorp, but you need to search about the projects, the opinion of others need to be the last factor of your choose of your portfolio. (but take a look in Dcorp :) )

Definitely XtraBYtes and there are a lot of projects to keep an eye on: if I could choose for a maximum of 5, I would have 1. XtraBYtes, 2. Etherium, 3. Nimiq, 4. Bancor and 5. DGB. I think if those coins are the ones you have in your portfolio and you have at least 500 USD worth per project, you will see at least the 100k's.

ETH, WAVES, STRAT,XCP a lot more. Alt now were worth collecting since it can get pump like btc. And they have their own worth.

Oh, lol. I totally forgot about WAVES and STRAT. Although I favor WAVES (ofcourse) on this one, I would trade Nimiq with WAVES and go for WAVES as a project to hold on for 5 years. Very good and strong project too.

For 5 years, bitcoin all the way. But as for altcoins, waves, APX, Ubiq, Golem, Library Credits, Ark. Is hard to know what will still be around in 5 years, choose top quality projects, not just coins.

I would think of something that would be safe and :

25% BTC  (less chance to 10X but surely will be up)
25% ETH  (a little more chance to grow more faster than bitcoin)
25% WAVES (good chance to 10X)
25% SIA (good chance to 10-50X)

if I were in your place, I'd invest 40% in ETH, 40% in dash or ripple (maybe split) and the rest 20% in bitcoin. Why bitcoin? Well because it's sure to grow in price and it's kind of a sure investment.

Personally I think that: Ethereum, Ripple, aeternity, maybe Dash and probably BosCoin, are good for investment and if you look close enough you won't have doubts that those are good investments

I think you must put a lot of your money to the bitcoin and etehreum. it says ethereum and bitcoin is promising protfolio for you rather than put your money on another crap coin and that gives you more guarantee for your amount.

5 years? Doesn't matter. As long as it isn't a shit coin or an inferior variation of another coin.

But i've heard if bter has a lot of problem with their users. I have no idea for using better as a trading place. Too many withdrawal and deposit didn't get resolved. But just try to search the more review about bter exchange right now.

25% SIA (good chance to 10-50X)
Statements like this make it extremely clear you guys are trading in stuff you don't understand at all.

Sia is a good option imo.

Just putting some information out there, you guys interpret it by your own perspective.

-current Sia marketcap: 380,199,777
-current market cap of cloud storage companies combined: ~120 billion'

-The cloud market is really big and Sia is only 0.0031% of the whole market right now.

-The world's GDP of blackmarkets: ~20%

Hope this helps!

Disclaimer: I don't hold any Sia but i'm looking to buy some soon.

I would also suggest 1337. Extremely cheap at this moment. Didn't check it today but was at 6/5 sat yesterday.

1337 is currently developing servers/implementation for playing Minecraft and earning 1337 coins by doing it.

I have looked into Minecraft: over 100 million gamers play it. Thats a HUGE market and HUGE potential. If they hear, read and know about gaining coins that they can trade for money or trade for games (stake2play)...thats huge.

You can check out Target Coin (http://www.tgtcoins.com/ico) - A Tokenized Long-short crypto hedge-fund that pays a guaranteed quarterly bonus and shares 85% of the profits back with the investors.

It looks promising.

Well the best way to make a big profit is just invest in solid coins like Ethereum, Monero or Waves.
But if you wanna make a very big return, you must go and invest Waves and any coin below $0.50 each and less than $500m marketcap.
by this way, you are gonna make your investment profitable, but you can not expect being millionaire only by investing five hundred dollars.

There´s manny regulations on the way to put more control in the crypto world and we are just starting to see... In five years any currency that is built upon a privacy concept will be valuable...
ZenCash, Monero, Pivx...
