Title: What is the longest time you have seen to solve a block?
Post by: Ascholten on May 06, 2013, 12:21:59 AM
Right now bitparking is going through a bit of a long time to solve a block.  This is bringing up discussion on long block finding times.

What is the longest time you have seen to find a block in your mining history?

Is there some way to search blocks issued .vs. time until found to get this data or would that not work very well?

Thank you

Aaron

You need to clarify what your asking.

Are you asking the longest time it's take a pool to find a block?

Are you asking the longest time for the network to find a block?

I was looking for the longest time for a pool for those who use pools to mine.
Sorry for the confusion.

It depends on the pools hashrate.  On medium to largish pools it has take a day or more for some rounds, but that is rare.  On smaller pools it can often take days or even weeks to solve a bitcoin round.

Are you talking about any pool in particular?
