So its finaly here. it was about time for this bubble to pop. Now lets see where it settles.

Any tips for bottoms? Some coins may be already near the minimum, but most of them can still go much deeper.
Dont expect new all time highs any time soon

What a rollercoaster. Eth with a near $100 fluctuation today.
Thankfully most of my coin are in projects i believe in with legitimate tech backing it not hype.

ETH is still down only 10% compared to > -20% for other coins, according to my trading platform. Now there is some buying around 300, on other coins as well. but i think it will be just temporary retracement.

Its a good time to put more into promising projects.

Um nothing has really dumped that much, if you haven't been in crypto that long these kind of daily fluctuations are quite ordinary. Obviously not ideal but very much ordinary. So I would call it a minor correction rather than a crash or major dump.

Good time to buy I don't think ETH or any other major alt will fall too much further.

wtf is happening? from 408 to 300 and to 350 now in few hours?

it will bottom out eventually, but imho it won't be above 300. so i think there will be some more dumping in coming days, maybe weeks., perhaps after some rebound.
but it may be the good news for those who waited to buy cheaper.

Yawn. Just like the last correction im doing nothing to my portfolio. Scared money has no business being in this market.

The same thing happened about two weeks ago I'm glad I was holding a lot of ETH though, that stuff is worth more than gold.

Is this all because of Bancor?

im not doing anything to my portofolio. im just sad cuz i didnt sell my eth on 400+ and buy it now. i think eth will go 400+ again in a week or two. same thing like now happend when it hit 200.

Today should serve as a reminder that volatility may be the rule, not the exception. Big market movements are common in crypto trading, these are thinly traded assets based on speculation and new technologies. No need to worry too much.

Considering the crazy price increase of Ethereum around 12:30 ETC, that was just more than sure that there would be some form of dump at some moment or another.

I'm seeing all red now. Except for ETH which is going on a full swing. Bitcoin is crashing hard as well. LOL. Maybe investors are just cashing out. Specially ETH which really took off. I don't know what influence that price of all coins to go down today. I'm not seeing any negative news that will really impact the sudden crashing.

Yes after a long dump,even DBG was going up only to drop down again.Eth went from 0.11 to 0.13 since morning.I missed buying it.Nothing to freak out though,the markets will be normal again by tomorrow morning.

Total market cap still didn't drop as much (in % term) as in the May. So this is either just small correction of the uptrend, or (i think more likely) it will get  deeper down in following days/weeks. Not easy to tell now.

Yes on 27th May it went from 90b to 60b (33%), now from 117 to 103 (12%). So it is far from being comparable. It all depends if there will be more correction. If this is it, no one will remember this drop already 3 days from now.

Market now feel queasy so there might be big vomit any time soon. I feel also queasy eww

Same freakout cycles every time there is more profit taking/dumps. This correction was warranted after such quick gains and is actually a good thing.
Just like at the end of May, I'm not doing anything with my portfolio.

Probably has a bit to do with it.
The drops aren't that massive really. I'm not concerned (at least not yet). The market as a whole has risen a lot, it's bound to fall back at some point - just as we see all the time with individual coins.

I agree, almost everything is in minus but it is not a big minus (around 10%).
What is even more interesting, somehow ethereum manages to grow even now, when everything is falling.
Do you think it is because of the coin being so good/popular? Or is it some huge artificial support made by Micsosoft or something else like that?

I think this attack (BTC-e and Bitfinex) and problem in bitcoin destroyed trust of investors and bitcoin will go back to 2000-2200 and eth will go back 225-275 :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I rewiev the market caps. There is nearly %15 decrease of marketcap volume. But it should'nt cause this dump. It should be an opportunity for get some coins at affordable price.

ddos attacks on bitfinex and btc-e again. I suspect some big boys and colluding with hackers to manipulate markets. Just hold on your coins tightly. Don't get washed away.

Nonsense's, this is all because whales wants us to believe this is the end..BTC is doomed..

today, drops tomorrow . A newer-to-market movement is very rapid. Movements will slowly improve.

I also think, this was just a small panic and a "return to mean value". People, mostly new traders, tend to panic more, resulting in dips like this. When they see everything go red, they also sell their coins, just in case. Looking on the prices, i think the dump has stopped right about now, and things are starting to slowly climb back up / hold their place.

BTC in "decentrilized" world looses its value, so rest as-well loose value in fiat only.

Its nice to see a healthy bit of price correction - markets had grown way too quickly - I'm sure the'll be back up to this level again soon...

Imagine how I feel, having entered the market on June 4th...I'll be soothing myself with sage advice in the form of Warren Buffet quotes before I go to sleep. If I were younger, I would have panicked and bailed. I'm going to ride it out because the one piece of advice I did follow was to only invest what you can afford to lose. This too shall pass.

I am not sure if IOTA is receiving price correction or heavy dump. Having a top 8 spot at coinmarket cap, it has more than 40% decrease. I cant decide if I should enter the market.

Are you not gonna to sell some of your portfolio to get the decent profit in the future, I may think if you can sell some of your portfolio and you will able to make good money with it. It seems you're missed the rain.

I take out a certain amount of profits every month or two but i'm not selling more because of this. I am putting more in at these levels though, at conservative amounts.

I used this opportunity to buy small amount of bitcoin. 30% discount from the price 5 days ago was irresistable, if it drops below 2000 i will buy more. im scanning charts of some altcoins for opportunity as well. remember, dumps are golden profit opportunities if played right (not so easy game though)

Aint gonna be lower that now we are reaching 95b marketcap. Buy point for me.

Yeah crash is a perfect opportunity to buy back bitcoin or any other alt coins for that matter. Its hard to resist the opportunity that is being presented so I might as well jump in and buy a little portion of bitcoin and hold on it till profit is achieved. We have seen other members here talking about the price is so high for buying. And now is the time to buy again.

There are many opportunities to enter when the market is correcting itself and i think there are other safer options to invest your money at this moment  and i am scanning for markets where the risk level is low.

The big drop in BTC happened right when it hit $3000, so my guess is that some big investors sold off at that price and triggered some mass selling - both folks panicking and folks looking to sell high and re-buy it at the lower price.

Possibly a very big whale started the crash and then when it was going to be stable, the Jihan fud came.

I caught a few buttonms on alts now looking at going up! Hopefully I'm not wrong and wake up tomorw loosing more money, lets see!

Only 5 days latter, but totally different picture. It is clearly seen the uptrend.   Soon 20b declines will be a small daily matter.
