As soon as majority of the world is informed and knows about digital currency, what do you think will happen? No matter how good it sounds to traditional banking, how much of the population will make cryptocurrency grow? 

Quite a number of people have been informed and know about bitcoin and that is what we are witnessing today where there sharp volatility in prices whether increasing or decreasing but when it gets to the point where those majority are now investing or probably begin to adopt bitcoin what will happen is the increase that will happen to price in the short term followed by considerable amount of stability.

Not much. None of the crypto is applicable for daily use and to an average joe, it is still easier to use fiat than crypto. If anything, the only users that can be added are gamblers and speculators or traders.

A lot of people are aware of cryptocurrency and still not enough for some kind of shift to happen. For most of them it's still a complicated, insecure, not real money. But I think in time more altcoins will appear and bitcoin will become even more expensive.

Now everyone knows about it and there is not a single country that doesn't know about Bitcoins, it's helping Bitcoins grow and March into all territories and that will help more and more people buy and sell through Bitcoins. As more and more people buy and sell through Bitcoins, Bitcoin price shall increase and plus it's popularity so it's would be good for the community that buying and selling through Bitcoin shall become faster and easier.

Now a days it is a digital age where everyone is aware of new technologies and its benefits so it is no longer for that everywhere in the world people will start using cryptocurrencies for daily life usage. Because of its high demand and the much using a lot of people are aware of cryptocurrency and still not much enough for it. It is increasing more and more now in trading marketing and investing as well.

To the future where we could be more advanced, where the new beginning will rise. The cryptocurrencies will help us to start a new beginning to correct our mistakes and learned our lesson for us to know what is the right thing to do and what is not. This could make us rich by holding it and wait for the right time to sell to have profits in the long run.

if by "grow" you mean price and it going up, then i don't understand your question because it doesn't make any sense to say it is better than banking system then only ask about price of it!

but if by "grow" you mean more about its adoption, as to be used as a store of value and to use as a currency to transfer money or buy stuff. then your question makes more sense. and for now a rather large part of the population is informed about bitcoin but they are not so willing to start using it for a variety of reasons.
some are scared because it is new technology,
some are scared because it is not regulated,
some are scared because of the price volatility,
some are scared because price has gone up from their ideal price

and the only way that i can see this change and we reach a stage when "the population" starts being more aware of bitcoin and more accepting of it is when it starts having more real usages. when you open your favorite shop online or when you want to buy something using credit card or paypal, ... when you see Bitcoin sign also there, that is the time you can say many will change their minds.

Majority percent people of cryptoworld seems that cryptocurrency will be able to hit in the moon by the demand of altcoin. A huge volium of money is used to invest that so much people i think.

Cryptocurrency can really change the world if we are all going to cooperate with this new advanced currency that are trying to prove them selves in the market. Most of the cryptocurrencies are secured and one of the best currency to use so if we will use cryptos then we could easily reach the point that we already have a highly improved financial system.

There are already existing digital currencies in the form of fiats that are loaded on a credit or debit card and nothing has really happened. I don't think it will be different if Bitcoin or any other Altcoins  are made known worldwide, rather they will adopt to its usage just like we did to credit and debit cards.

What do I think will happen? Many countries will be attracted with this technology and as you can see with a lot of news coming out, different countries started to do their study cases and test scenarios for the adoption of blockchain technology and bitcoin. Well the growth of crypto currency isn't measurable as it keeps on moving forward.

Cryptocurrencies are going toward the future. The more people start using them and realizing these currencies advantages we can have a better future for ourselves. Of course this needs time but things are looking good at the moment with more and more people interested in bitcoin each and each day. It is true that for the average Joe it is not easy but hopefully with the level of technological education growing nowadays will surely make also the average Joe starting to accept and learning the fundamentals behind this amazing technology.

the crypto we're familiar with now will never be used by the mainstream. the tech will be taken and utilised for stuff that's non monetary or pegged to usd valuations. the average person will not tolerate the never ending volatility that a real crypto has.

I think with the trend over the years, it is obvious that as cryptocurrency keeps getting known worldwide and its users keep increasing, the more it keeps showing greater prospects for the future. I believe the price will keep skyrocketing until we get to a stage where it balances and probably we arrive at the Peak value (who knows?). I'd say we are heading to the moon, hopefully all these scaling shit with bitcoin is also solved soon, otherwise we may start telling different stories.

I think a lot of people have heard of bitcoin at least o'ce but only through the mainstream media. A lot of people still associate it with drugs and hackers a stigma that the media put on bitcoin and thus crypto currency as a whole. However that will change soon (changing already). But bitcoin isn't ready yet. The scaling issue is yet to be resolved (hopefully August 1st).

If anyone will knows it then that's it. We have now multiple advantages using fiat and by using bitcoin. Traditional banking will still there because for bitcoin to become like that, bitcoin exchanges must be the one that will act like bank but unfortunately I think it's not as easy as others thinking and I doubt there will be one.

Just imagine how comfortable our life could be if we can take advantages of banking services and the good value bitcoin will give to us. About the population, it will depend on the legality of bitcoin per country. Even anyone will knows bitcoin but still the legality of it is questionable in a country, then we can't state the exact percentage of population that will make the cryptocurrency grows.

I don't want government watch my every step. I don't want to be slave of centralized banking system. I don't want to see borders between other people and me. Main reasons why I'm in crypto assets.

More people are aware of bitcoin today yet there are people of considerable volume who don't know about bitcoin.If every one knows about bitcoin,its demand would increase more increasing its price as bitcoin supply is limited.Bankers would lose their control over the society more.More unemployed people would get opportunity to earn through bitcoin.

Because of that it is still connected to bad things/illegal things. On the other side, other people know what is bitcoin and they can make used of it. However the convenience is provided by the cryptocurrency people never leave the traditional currency and go behind the cryptocurrency. Well I think every country that has access to internet tv heard about bitcoins at least once.
But the thing is people are afraid of new things (as always). They prefer to do things the same way they have always done it.

It's almost only traders and tech-savies are the ones who are interested in it.
The easier it becomes to be used by an average user, the more it gets used.

There are a lot of people knew about crypto currencies especially bitcoin, the number of people that aware of bitcoin has been up very fast, most of my friends knew about bitcoin but not all of them want to used bitcoin, because they always heard the bad news about bitcoin so they thought that bitcoin is a criminal coin, we still need to increase the bitcoin popularity so everyone aware of bitcoin potential, if everyone had the same vision bitcoin could be become big and useful

maybe it is just a difference in the crowd or something else but i have never heard anyone (in real life) say they think bitcoin is "criminal coin". they may not fully understand it or make a lot of mistakes thinking blockchain.info is the only way to use bitcoin like how paypal is the only way to use paypal money but the mentality of "bitcoin is for criminals" died a long time ago.

That would depend in the adaptation of the community of bitcoin believer, due to nowadays crytptocurrency is not like bitcoin were it can be used online payment, billings, online shopping and saving bitcoin.

Essentially what is going to happen if we get, say 50% of the world's population to start using bitcoin, we are going to basically get the central banks, commercial banks, all of them out of business because they've just lost 50% of their customers! This in turn will make them have to reduce their competitiveness because they're not raking in as much anymore. This will fuel more people investing in bitcoin.

Lot of negativity​ is getting spread about bitcoin through different sources. This is simply because of the mistakes that caused with certain users. Of course, the prices of the cryptocurrency will rise because we are in the technological age, and nothing will stop that because technology helps us so much. Honestly, I think that there would be lots of dramas as we grow in numbers. Just like in everything else, humans tend to destroy things over simple and silly stuffs. There would be people, might even grow to teams, spreading FUD out there just so they can pump/dump the coins that they like. People will be busy trading. Never have I seen a bitcoin user that didn't eventually go full time on trading by quitting their day job. I guess it's because we have very low pay rate in my country but I also talked to some people in slack. They also quit their day job to go all in in making money from cryptocurrencies. We all want a money making method in which we can decide when to do work, and when to take a rest.

We are going  to be rich with cryptocurrency because if we buy now and hold it for long term then it will make us rich because bitcoin is like a real estate property that year after year the price is keep going up and the only winners in the end are long term people so i don't think any kind of negative thoughts because bitcoin already gave me good life.

I'm thinking that it is very easy to equate the gold rush with what we're seeing within the crypto markets right now, that's essentially why everything is going up in value. I kind of want to start being more involved with it, and start getting in on some of the "panning" people are doing, but at the same time selling the shovels and sieves makes me money, albeit less.

Agreed, when new investment enter the network we'll be experiencing price increase. In the past too, the same took place when the legalization took place in Japan. When majority of the world is informed I think there will be 100 times more users of cryptocurrency than it is now. The price of Bitcoin will probably not rise 100 times though, because there are many other cryptos which people will be using.

I'm with you with that because 100 times is a bit exaggerated on its price for now but who knows in the future. Altcoins is certainly catching up on bitcoin although the situation

now is even though many of us are already using altcoins, our main cryptocurrency is still bitcoin.

being informed is just a first stage, the question is are people willing to learn cryptocurrencies, do they have the resources for it? what i observed on the people around me is

they come and go. they come because of money and when things get hard, they simply go.

If majority of the population of the entire world would know cryptocurrencies existence then it would really be an advantage but the big question is what would they choose rather other than bitcoin,considering there are lots of alts in the market and also its really hard to believe that it will replace traditional banking but its really a great innovation after all- If community would mostly adopt this system then expect for more demand but still not a sure thing to happen though.

I Think there are still a majority of people that are not using bitcoin or not interested with it, and if you rate it in the percentage I think the number of people that is not interested is in a 80% and only 10% of people that has knowledge with it, if you don't believe me then go out and see for yourself by asking random person in your community if they know what is bitcoin and I think 1 out of 10 will say that they have not encounter the word yet or don't know anything about bitcoin.

i think with internet connection in every where, the new era of digital currency will come and will know by many people and they will using digital currency. people now have two option for spending their money, with digital or with traditional way, but for crypto currency, as long as internet connection is exist, crypto currency will be stay as digital currency and there will be many option of digital currency that we can use.

Depends upon how the cryptocurrencies are promoted. Bitcoin can be referred as "illegal drug money " by some, at the same time "anonymous donation money" by some. So we need to see when cryptocurrencies will reach 30-40% of world population, will it be in positive or negative manner.

I don't know maybe it's true where you live, but where I live only 1% at best will say to that they heard something about Bitcoin. That's why I said that there would be 100 times more users of cryptocurrency than it is now if everyone was informed.

Hopefully indeed. We, or the devs just needs to make bitcoin a tiny bit more "newbie" friendly. Especially for the older people, they wouldn't have a clue on what private keys and recovery phrases are. Yes we have coinbase, but I don't think that's the best solution for this.

Crypto currency will still be convenient to calculate for greater purchases. To pay for small purchases, the calculation in digital currency, on the one hand, is not very convenient, and on the other hand, due to the need to pay commissions, may not be financially profitable. Therefore, some part of the market will be serviced by traditionally paper money.

I think interoperability is a more practical and credible outcome that requires less disruption (damage to the incumbent ecosystem) and more construction (enhancing the ecosystem).
