What is your prognostic?

Not likely in the short run, aka a few days.

If there is a bigger correction that is coming then yeah. I don't think that it's going to come though because this one was already pretty major and scared the crap out of a lot of people out there.

The low for this correction was pretty close to $2500 being +- $20. This shows that there is major resistance at that price, people are buying in as soon as the price goes near there making sure that it doesn't crash under that level. Price is already up and stable. I guess we'll just be at around $2700 for the time being, and moving sideways until further notice/big news.

A good time to buy some more ?

Well, I think it depends on how you will take the price. It is still so high for me, if you really want a good time to buy, you need to wait a little longer, there is this network split and it may give some people a scare and can make them sell their bitcoin. That way it can dump maybe $500 to $600.

Not really, but this has got chances. This is not a decline in the value it is a correction factor. So when price moves back to $2500 can expect the same to grow higher in a short as it happened when the price went towards $2000 for the price correction and causing a gradual price increase.

We briefly touched $2500 at the bottom of yesterday's big correction.

If you missed that opportunity, you're probably out of luck. We're already halfway back up to the ATH.

People who missed out on buying the deep dips keep dreaming it will go back down bur it almost never does.

In the summer of 2013 people waited for single digits again and said it wouldn't hit triple digits again that year. Instead it hit 4 digits that autumn.

Last year, dreamers dreamed of $200 coins and instead it hit almost a grand by year's end.

This spring, wishful thinkers hoped for $800 coins. Instead we got thousands.

Now $2500 appears to be the new bottom.  You might get near it if there's a big drop based on something substantial, but it's highly unlikely we'll go lower.

If you're not in yet, get in while the price is still low. Otherwise you'll be left behind like those who waited for $10, $200 or $800.

This opportunity was already in the last year the end of the summer after the hacker attack on the commercial exchange. Then the price for Bitcoin also fell to $ 560 per Bitcoin. But not everyone took advantage of this, because they were frightened. Other options may already not be.

It seems bitcoin market had recovered, and I believe Bitcoin hit $2500 the previous dip/correction.  There is a possibility since the current price is just some hundred dollar away but I am more incline that bitcoin will be in an uptrend price this following week and especially on July due to the Australia adopting bitcoin as money and removing the tax on bitcoin transaction.

Well its already recovering now but could dip again before it finally goes back up. I would say its 50/50 that it will either hit 2500 or go past 3000.

And how then to be for the beginner, if the good users who spend a lot of time with the crypto currency, there are do not know how to act at a certain moment. Today, the price of Bitcoin is unstable and it becomes more difficult to manage it. Perhaps it's better to wait until it reaches $ 3,000. But I'm not sure about tomorrow.

I wouldn't be too surprised if we do hit $2500. This represents only a 10% drop from current levels and given Bitcoin's volatility, this is not too difficult. But I do believe that the long term trend is upwards.

getting to 2500

I think we can hit $2500 now. But its gonna be short live though. I think investors has trust bitcoin now and would just sell their coins just because of negative news or FUD. It will briefly touch $2500 but then it will hover around the $2600-$2700. And then the slow climb to the very price we all want to see and breach, $3000.

So you don't think there will be a rally ? In the past these kind of "sales" lead to mass buying of bitcoin, people hoping to get easy profits.

Bearfinex is below $2500, trading at $2450 right now. Others around $2500. China above $2700 for some reason

Chances is everywhere. Even at $2,000 we can go back there anytime.

What matters here is the ability to get up again meaning building support and resistance. These current dip is one of the most thing that every buyers want especially those who can't afford to buy at close $3,000 price. Still not a panicking event so take advantage of it rather than to take it as a thing to be worried.

On Bitstamp at the moment it is $2542. So we're close.

Not sure what will happen when we reach it - if bitcoin falls below $2500 it will keep going. I think the next support is $1800 from memory.

The problem at the moment is that is very difficult to predict what it is going to happen since this is such a definitive moment for bitcoin the price may go down dramatically if segwit is not activated but it could go up a lot if it is, so we must think carefully about what we are going to do.

But it's a very bad forecast I think many users enjoy, as everyone expect Bitcoin's very good and stable growth in the future and also in the coming months.

A few days ago we were flying as high as $2900 now the price has dipped so low and we just might hit 2500 usd...

Early signs of an emerging bear market. Demand seems to be going back, and that's fatal after a quick appreciation in price. Also, Bitcoin has rallied for about 2,5 months now: it must take a breather at some point and retrace significantly.

If I would put money on it, I'd say 85% chance of BTC not breaking 3000 dollars and retracing back to sub 2000's.

If you check bitstamp the price just hit below $2500, lowest price were $2490.  But the price recovered fast and I hope this one keep on increasing.  Does this decline have something to do with the etf rejection? Or ICO cashing out? or whale playing the market? Or it is just some sort of correction?

On Bistamp is just above 2500$,but on Bitfinex&Poloniex is around 2460$,all exchanges are in red now.It is hard to say what is reason for this declining of price,only thing which is certain when it comes to BTC that at some point we can expect a correction in price.These days that difference can be pretty big,like this one and that one week or two ago when we see 1000$ price drop i just few days.

I would say that always someone take profit,whales never sleep :)
