Title: Poloniex withdrawal problems
Post by: black-lagoon on June 13, 2017, 02:06:57 PM
Many here will say that this is a timely problem, but with all the reports starting to get worrisome.
It seems that the withdrawals are done selectively with many having to wait for the ridiculous differential term for manual approval, so in many cases even this is not being fulfilled.
I've been waiting for approval since June 7 and I simply do not receive any response from the tickets and I do not even know how to get in touch with them any other way.
For me the poloniex is with a big red light and I do not intend to operate on it until I'm sure it will not risk breaking.

 :o :o :o

Every day I make my withdrawals normally and I receive the confirmation email instantly, even 2 days ago I made a withdrawal successfully and without problems

I'm scared after hearing your story, I make trade in poloniex because I like them... but this problem is very serious

Yes I have never had problems with poloniex until this last withdrawal. Something serious is happening, I'm trying to put the picture showing my pending retreat since day 7.

Even I have a pending withdrawal from the 4th, while making a withdrawal I also received a confirmation email then I click the confirmation link withdrawal but I got the withdrawal status is "Awaiting Approval". I also tried to find information to contact the poloniex moderator in addition to the trollbox ticket but I did not find contacts that could be received directly by them, even twitter they look like it was dead. Shit man!
I really hope people here know anyone to solve this problem quickly and can contact the poloniex moderator in addition to using the trollbox ticket. If anyone has poloniaex moderator contacts please share it here or please PM me, thanks.

If I can find a form, I notice it here, apparently we have several people in the same situation. I am almost considered the hypothesis of not getting my bitcoins back.

A lot of people talk about poloniex being reputable, they care about the customers, good security, and after they were hacked a few years ago they made efforts to reimburse customers.

But is anyone at poloniex known in the community? I understand it is not financially registered like other exchanges. What is to prevent them from closing shop or claiming that they were hacked, and absconding with funds?

I also think like that "is there anyone in the poloniex that is known in the community?" Because I wanted to get a response on my trollbox ticket, then I decided to search and find someone from poloniex, but I did not find them even tweet poloniex nor did he following anyone. >:(

I spent the afternoon yesterday trying to find a contact in the community with poloniex and I did not have any success. I just found this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=420836.new#new and even then it has no way of direct contact and I see several complaints as well.
I think it's time to move the subject from poloniex to the scam section because I think I've already lost my bitcoins I still had there.

Looks really scary, I will withdraw all my coins out of poloniex right now. Don't know, does this problem exist also with other alts like ETC or not but I can't wait for months to get my withdrawal. I will try to withdraw my alts in batches rather than all at once.

Poloniex has a high status and Im kinda curious why this is happening, are you guys sure that the problem is from poloniex? Because there are some certain issues regarding bitcoin trasactions, try to withdraw or deposit an altcoin and if the same thing happens then the problem is really on poloniex.

I only move BTC so I can not say how are the other withdrawals, but looking over here in the forum I've already seen complaints of ETH withdrawals with problems.

I am waiting for withdrawal BTC from 23 May. I wrote ticket - no answer from Poloniex. Is the Cryptsy nightmare? What should I do else? I wrote on Trollbox but they turned it off. Where is my money? Still awaiting approval.

I am having this problem with STEEM and LSK as well. I've been waiting on approval since the 1st of June. Not a ticket or email is getting me in contact with Poloniex.

I've been trying to withdraw my MYR for over a week now from poloniex. Got 2 support tickets going with no response.

1 test withdraw "worked", but my wallet never received it.
2 test withdraws failed with error, but coins are gone.
2 tests are "pending" for several days.

No way to contact support and the value has already dropped by 40%. Wanted to turn it into btc 10 days ago, but cannot since the coins are stuck.

Something is going on over there.  I have removed all my coins there 2 months ago when story's started emerging of withdraws not being processed, also with the "suspect" DDOS attacks in line with a large ETH dump that liquidated many many accounts on poloniex.. I think the fun times there are over..

My advice get all you bitcoin's out.. get them onto a paper wallet or hardware before 1st august.

Some exchanges might just be found out that they "don't" have the capability to operate the way they have been and possibly be uncovered as scams....

It sounds like what is needed are decentralized exchanges. If centralized exchanges cannot be trusted and there is risk of hacking, then why not decentralized, so that everyone stores their own crypto? Too bad there is so little volume there currently, meaning very high transaction fees and difficulty making trades.

This is strange it's almost 19 days, i'm just wondering did you click the link confirmation, since they don't allow you to withdraw you balance before you clicked the email confirmation. What about the fee? sometimes i had problem in withdrawing bitcoin but i think it's not their fault it must be the blockchain but only 1 days or so untill my transaction getting confirmed. They are trusted exchanger so far, i've been using their service for a long time, though i'm not compeletly sure they will clean forever. I hope your problem will be fixed soon.

I don't even have the option to withdraw. It says $0 available of $2,000 limit. No support at all. It's been over 24 hours since the last withdrawal and the countdown bar was at $183 last night for me. So they took the ability to withdraw away. Kinda scary.

I mined 5 ETC there, they say the wallet is down. But they dont' disable it for maintenance like other times.

Poloniex is going down for sure I think. They gonna scam me over 5 ETC that's pretty sad.

Not to mention all the scamming bots with their Margins and the Ripple fiasco. They stole a lot of peoples money during those "DDOS Attacks" which weren't at all DDOS Attacks and I think anybody with any technical knowledge that sees this stuff now as well has to at least admit the possibility of insider trading at polo. Massive dump offs while nobody was able to sell or even enter the website.

Trading down bots just to liquidate all the margins that obviously couldn't foresee 3 site crashes and obviously would get liquidated if people were allowed to dump while nobody can access the site.

very fishy those guys should be in prison in my opinion

I will say that within hours of me posting this, support responded to my ticket advising it would only be a few more hours until I could withdraw again. And it was true. All of my funds have been withdrawn. While this does not help those of you with stuck funds, hopefully it gives some confidence back to their exchange. I know a lot of us like to complain, and then when it works out, we don't update with a success story for whatever reason (it's easy to forget, but then everyone just sees the horror stories). I wanted to update with a positive outcome.

I'm happy for you because I'm 12 days away with a withdrawal waiting for approval and I just do not get my bitcoins and even the support does not answer the more than 6 tickets I've already opened.

What the heck is happening in poloniex now? I withdraw 0.25BTC but still in Awaiting Approval since 32 hours and as of now still haven't recieved nothing. I sincere that i doesn't trust now poloniex and would changes now in bittrex because of what poloniex doing now. After i received my 0.25BTC i would trade in bittrec not in poloniex now

Withdrew a substantial amount of bitcoins (within my daily limits of course), took a few minutes extra and everything went fine, just got the 1st confirmation.
Overall, it was in the pending state like 15-20 minutes, and judging from the hot wallet, the withdrawals are being processed on regular basis (anyone can find this information as bitcoin addies are public).
