Title: Core devs are invested in success of eth...this is why bitcoin has been stalled.

Makes all the sense in the world.

Eric Lombrozo (core dev and crazy uasf hat troll) is a co eth founder...

Makes all the sense in the world.
Many Core devs are against altcoins.  There's no point cherry picking one person with no actual evidence that he's investing in ETH, and then trying to pass it off as some kind of logical argument.

Don't forget the tin foil hat.

Eth doesn't compete with Bitcoin, so who cares?

People like me who actually want to use bitcoin and see it grow and evolve instead of being constricted to a 1mb limit for the personal financial gains of others. Bitcoin needs a fork away from Core.

See the big issue here is that the only reason ETH is around right now is going to be because of a bunch of traders, that's the only thing people are doing with that coin at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I think the coin is very innovative and such but I don't think it's going to overtake BTC because it's not actually being accepted by many people to be used to facilitate things that a currency must to do, simply be a currency.

Eth doesn't compete with Bitcoin, so who cares?

Truth right here, I'd say ETH is more or less the gold of cryptos right now as it's just being traded back and forth but really does nothing else. Btc is a currency as it's used to buy and sell items, it's also used for services and so on and so forth.

This isn't true OP.

Literally nothing you said in your entire post gives evidence of this not being true.

"Core devs" is a group of 100+ people submitting stuff into the bitcoin github, and you are only citing 1 person then making a thread with "core devs".

Seriously how low can Roger Ver sockpuppets can go? lower than Bitcoin Unlimited futures even?

This is typical small blocker/Core drivel from a small blocker/Core shill. Go ahead, and just keep ignoring the facts in front of your face and then blaming the people who want btc to actually succeed and accusing them of being sockpuppets (like Core does).

I thought that you were supposed to present some sort of argument when people start refuting your outrageous claims?

"No, you <claim that I am a shill of Blockstream, the Core devs or something>".

How can the devs be so heavily involved in the development of Ethereum, when they have to spend so much time bickering about block sizes of bitcoin and coming up with nothing innovative so that the transactions fees balloon to a point that Bitcoin can no longer really be used as a curreny?

That sounds like a full time job, without moving into Ethereum too.

Exactly my point.

Core devs are only investing their time and effort for bitcoin only and I don't believe any of them has a true interest in altcoins or specifically speaking Ethereum. Sure someone of this 100+ persons group may like to have fun a little and buy a few ethereums , overall bitcoin core devs are only focused in bitcoin. If we have a fork we will see on August 1 but even if it does happen bitcoin will continue to survive and bitcoin has not stalled at all, it is recovering from 2400 and is above 2700 usd now.

You mean people who want to ignore the real world resources which allow Bitcoin all the decentralized properties which make it uniquely useful and therefore valuable in order to use the most secure censorship-proof value transfer mechanism in the world to purchase your morning coffee?

Please, for the love of all things holy, stop making threads and act. Fork away today!

Endless threads from a few incessant complainers who do nothing but bitch because they are incapable of actually doing something to bring about the changes they constantly clamor for.

Beg your pool operator overlords!

Can't buy coffee anymore when Core has refused a blocksize increase and fees are more than the coffee.

The only reason it was ever possible is because transaction costs were paid by the early block subsidies. The spoiled brats got used to not having to pay for network security directly and threw a tantrum when the halvings changed things.

All you've provided is a small amount of cherry picked information - it doesn't explain any of Core's motives, nor would it make sense that Lombrozo is trying to "stall" Bitcoin if he supports UASF.  This is a case of letting your opinion get in the way of actual arguments.

Seriously, the problem is that all I can reply is generic BU this, BU that arguments that everyone says all the time because you haven't presented any real reasoning for your opinion that people can argue against.  It's one-line nonsense.

You just showed as I already said 1 out of more than 100 people team working for bitcoin core. That does not worries me, I know that bitcoin core is still the best and most secure wallet out there thanks to these people on this team. Let me remind you that Ethereum had the Dao problem not long ago and was hacked once.

Last time i checked, the average transaction fee for ethereum was around $1.4. Ethereum is facing the same problem as bitcoin right now. Ethereum is just promising a fix, we have yet to see it in action.

I think some people are confusing me for an eth supporter. I'm not. It's fundamentally inferior to btc. That said, bitcoin could have, and should have had a fix 2 years ago, but the blame should go on Core for opposing a blocksize increase, but also having ties to eth. If It weren't for them btc would have easily cleared $10k by now. It's not right they are forcing a useless bitcoin or contentious (oddly enough) fork on the community.

I don't even know which side to belong to because even on a daily basis using this forum as a case study where several projects are being shunned out on a daily basis but what I discovered is more are relying on ETH compared to those relied on Block chain but I dont want to agree that bitcoin is static because of that. Bitcoin has been increasing whether in price or in popularity and this is also an indicator that core developers are not just sleeping even though we might not get to have another project breaking out.
