I hear stories that Bitcoin can go to $1,000,000 dollar! (Crazy if you ask me)
But what about ETH what highest price will ETH reach in the next 10 years?

Could ETH reach $100,000 and will it get bigger then BTC?

These are just merely price speculations and it is very far from reality. It is only possible that BTC will hit 1M$ if the demand of it will be significant, but it is very impossible. And if you ask me about ETH? there are lot of speculations that it can get advantage because of lots of ICOs are ETH based. Price will surely surge, and may become another bubble similar on what happened on XRP.

And why will demand not keep growing in this rate the next 10 years?

I think ETH could easilly reach today's bitcoin prices in the next few years. Demand keeps growing for it. New technologies are stemming from it more and more each day. There may be a lot of coins, but if a lot of people need to use ETH, it will grow and easilly reach bitcoins price.

Do you think its a good idea to have 40 % in BTC 40% in ETH and 20% in altcoin?

I think that's an ok idea. why not? basically hedging your bets.

If you're looking for altcoin, stick with the best : xmr, dcr, xem, ltc, xrp, etc... then maybe waves and strat

This will depend on ETH adoption for sure.

Personally, I wouldn´t be so optimistic about any altcoin for the future, including Ethereum, the short Cryptocoins history tell us the opposite.

1 million per BC?

Market Cap would be bigger than all but the first 8 economies inthe world.

That's delusional at best considering Bitcoin in the current state does not have much utility except exchanging for other coins and paying ona limited set of shops.

Technology on BC is too old to make it grow so much.

Treat it as real life gold, but not dollar.

For me ETH will finally get stabilised at 0,5BTC/ETH in quite somes times. I greatly doubt Bitcoin could go to as high as 1 000 000$, and  rather plan on a 50 000$ price in 2022. ETH at this time will so be worth 25 000$ according to me.

I think if you have the way to buy them slowly its good to buy 20 ETH and 10 BTC to have a good pension ;) Alltough i would be only 35 by then ;)

$1 million will probably never happen and this is coming from a bitcoin hodler ;)
and about ETH i have to say i honestly can not see it get anywhere. and i am actually pretty surprised that it even reached this price. don't get me wrong i am very happy it did since i have made a lot of bitcoin from trading ETH but a lot of things don't add up about ethereum!

as far as supply goes, there is no limit or cap for it. there will be a lot more ethereum in the future than there is now, and there is already 90 million coins available (for comparison that number for bitcoin is 16 mil) and without any cap it will continue growing. hint: supply and demand rule!

the smart contract part is not even unique to ethereum. other platforms do the same and there is even Rootstock which is gaining a big momentum these days and it works on bitcoin blockchain (they also are working on implementing it on litecoin too). what do you think real world chooses? bitcoin which is a decentralized thing everyone knows or an altcoin which had a big ICO and it has turned to centralization?

I think the price of ETH will be a quarter of BTC, that is $250,000.

How about BTC dropping to 2k and bear makret till 2024?

i newer think bitcoin can reach 1 000 000 $  but it can be reach 1 00 000$   as you expereanced look at bit coin transaction fees this days almost many exchangers charging more than 3$-5$ per transaction if btc go 1 000 000$ think what will be the transaction fee it will be more than 100$ because of it i  think btc newer reach 1 000 000$ and many altcoins including ethreum and dash z cash price will be much higher and more usable

Look at total Marketcap of all coins right now is a 111 390 000 000, it is constantly raising, so for now everything is fine.

If you look at BTC dominance, it's 39%, so your holding distribution is spot on.

Most people see ETH as the 2nd coin that can get to 1000 usd value, so many people who invest in their '' first''  altcoin buying ETH.

I would say if you are able to do it!
Try to keep 2 bitcoins 10 ETH (representing 75% of your investment) and 25% other in altcoins! Do this if its not a to big part of your financial situation! So that if the buble explodes you will not have to eat dry bread!

look ETH now is 1/7 of bitcoin, so your dream ETH would be 1/7 of 1000000, which is around 140k, i don't think this is possible, for both coin reaching this high level will be very hard and require imho, almost all countries to join like japan joined on bitcoin and regulated it

So what do you think could be the max value of BTC?

By looking at the development of most of the new coin on using ETH wallet base and my forecast ETH one of the premium coins that will be below one level of BTC in the next ten years :o

It's crazy but maybe it happens in 10 years. What about Eth? It will overtake Bitcoin within this year. Mark my words.  ;)

Correct topic, everyone is speculating about future bitcoin prices but only a few people is mentioning about future ethereum prices. I expect ethereum prices around $800 if bitcoin goes up to $6-7k dollars.

1. Don't call it BC... No one calls it BC! Call it BTC or get out.
2. Not sure where you're getting those numbers from... What exactly are you thinking of as the market caps of economies?
3. + What it's actually made for? Anonymously sending money to others through decentralized transactions with fees that aren't based on percentages maybe?
4. Really.. It's BTC.. Not BC.. And anyways, it's really not too old.. Wanna know something cool? Hundreds of millions of years ago we drank water... And we still drink it! Is water therefore too old? And oxygen? Sunlight? I'd count Bitcoin as one of the newer technologies...
5. I think gold is already real life, so I'd rather say "as digital gold". It's also not completely true, as most stores won't accept 100 milli-grams of pure gold for some candies..

Well Eth has potential too just like Bitcoin. I wouldn't even say Bitcoin can reach $1M anytime soon. Maybe 20 years from now.... who knows  :P



And remember, Eth won't have to be the same value of Bitcoin to beat Bitcoin. As Eth has a larger supply, it can beat Bitcoin's marketcap by even having a lower value.

Do i really think that the price of bitcoin could rise that much,i would not think so in the real sense of the world,if you want to trade with it you need to have a real valuation so that everyone could trade with it,these are just crazy figures and i feel like all the alt coins not only ETH will follow the price of bitcoin .
