Title: is my RX 580 running hot?
Post by: pb2014 on June 14, 2017, 03:49:13 AM
I'm currently mining with 2 GPU's. My XFX RX580 8GB sits at 90c while my R9 280x sits at only 74c.

Both are running stock. Mining ETH with 280X I get about 13.3 mh/s and with RX580 I get 22 mh/s.

That seems very warm. Do you have them in an open case?

Technically, they can run at those temps, but their lifespan may be reduced.

It would be best to get them <75C.

If they are in a closed case, make sure you have plenty of airflow.
