Title: Transfering Bitcoin between addresses in Electrum (Any Fees?)
Post by: EXtremeAEX on June 14, 2017, 12:39:22 PM
Hi, new to Electrum here, just got to know about the Change Addresses and what not, so bear with me. :)

Is all the receiving address (20) that are generated separate and ready for use? Meaning that I own all these 20 addresses?

Are there any fees if I transfer from one address to the other? I think there is, but I am not sure.

Thanks jack for the answer, just needed to clarify! :)

Yes because to transfer to any address you have to pay the bitcoin network fees. It won't due you any good unless you send them all in one transaction to one address, otherwise you are just stuck with the same number of separate inputs. Each input must be sent in its entirety and then the unused amount comes back to you via one of your change addresses. So what you propose will cost a lot of money and will not accomplish anything.
