Hello, I bought 3 bitmain antminer S7 and I want to know if I can use them to mine ethereum.

I'm using them for BTC, but I just wanted to know if I can use them for ETH too.

Hi,

You can use them to mine any coin that supports the SHA256 algorithm, and only that.
Do a search on coins with that algorithm or just go to https://whattomine.com/asic (https://whattomine.com/asic) and check the coins/profit there.
No ETH mining for S7 thought...  ;)

Gpus are what you want to mine eth.  As another post stated you can only mine coins with the sha256 algo with your miner.
