Title: Which coin projects have actual utility and solve some new problem?
Post by: cryptowoman555 on June 14, 2017, 09:12:17 PM
Of course there are ways to make tons of money on garbage coins and there's ways that good projects might not share enough with coin owners (maybe too many coins?)

But purely from the basis of actually solving a unique problem, which projects do that?

Ethereum solves the problem of legal implications from running Ponzi scams. Now everyone can create an ICO ponzi and take millions from suckers. Traditionally it was harder to organise scams like this.

SiaCoin solves issue for pedos storing their questionable material on hard drives or centralised systems. Now they can store it on a decentrilised blockchain, encrypted.

Monero solves problem for terrorists not being able to buy weapons. Now they can do it all discreetly.

Lol. The legal implications of a Ponzi scheme. Those two thing can't go together.

Gridcoin and Curecoin.  Both coin projects are in place to use computing power for assisting researchers find cures for cancer, AIDS, or other computing projects like SETI, searching for signs of alien life.

XtraBytes Xtrabytes  Xtrabytes   I feel like im the only one talking about this project on this forum. It solves EVERYTHING its the most secure scalable coin with no mining or staking. The project is still in development bit expect it to make a big entrance into the crypto world later this year.

It also will do far more than the overpriced and overrated IOTA which is a one horse pony...internet of things? How about internet of fuck off and stop.controlling my washing machine and door locks you fucking.hacker.

XBY will also do everything ETH can do but better with its modular approach.

Hello,

Datacoin has been used quite a few times for real world problem solving.
Have a look at ByteSt@mp, "The Internet Timestamp Service" (http://www.bytestamp.net/).

Best Regards,

Just visit MIV ann. They plan to create a video sharing platform resolving many problems and giving benefits: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1983414.0  :) :) :)

I might be biased, but: SPR (SPHERE) tokens. Thread is here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2027402.

What utility does it have? SPR generates fee from actual smart contract games that have been pilot tested and generated. The last contract lasted 27 days and generated over $150,000 of bids.

Not promoting, just answering the question :)

Someone mentioned Steem already

Another one that I am following closely is musicoin. It can be the ultimate solution for the artists.
