Title: $2,300 USD worth of Bitcoin stuck/pending confirmation for 4 days now..
Post by: JaguarFType on June 15, 2017, 09:12:47 AM
Hi All,

I am new to the world of cryptocurrency. I recently had 2.3k USD worth of bitcoin in my Blockchain Wallet. Sent it to Poloniex exchange to two different deposit addresses. Clicked send and now it still hasnt arrived. I wasnt aware of the whole satoshi rate but i left it at the default fee that blockchaim had which i think was 77 satoshi/byte.

These are the two transaction IDs:

First transaction ID: 778cba0f0193b8a8aca20a25e741606b687f9974920ac301a76d443535fe9bc2

Second Transaction ID: a356f6733b359725dcee4aab2ba6aa312d5713c953f51af230c34fb3701e6aa0

I have tried using the ViaBtc accelerator tool but no luck.

Could anyone please assist me in pushing these transactions through?
Would greatly appreciate it.  :)

pretty much just a standard low fee issue....

for the record, this is your first transaction:a356f6733b359725dcee4aab2ba6aa312d5713c953f51af230c34fb3701e6aa0 (https://blockchain.info/tx/a356f6733b359725dcee4aab2ba6aa312d5713c953f51af230c34fb3701e6aa0)

Also, as your 2nd transaction is spending an unconfirmed output from the first, it won't be able to confirm until after the first one does... so work on getting the a356f6 transaction accelerated first... you just have to submit in the first few seconds of a new hour.

If you're going to continue using b.info wallet (not recommend! you should get a proper desktop wallet)... at least start using the new "custom fee" option on the send dialog and make sure you fee is matching up with: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

You must stop using this wallet it will cause you trouble on sending funds since you have a huge amount, I must suggest you have to use Electrum Desktop wallet, and you can choose the fee for the transaction you want to make.

BTW I just accelerate your transaction using viabtc, it seems I'm lucky to push your tx without reaching the submission yet. ;)

You can wait until viabtc find a block, so maybe 1-3 hours of waiting is enough.

I have tried using the ViaBtc accelerator tool but no luck.
You should keep in mind that Viabtc only allows 100 submission per hour and this limit reset at every UTC hour. So you should try to submit your tx exactly at UTC hour to successfully submit your tx for acceleration. And also after submission you have to wait till viabtc mines a block which might take few hours.

You tx got confirmation for right now but don't forget to use electrum like wallet to include enough fee in future transactions.
