What use do theses coins have beyond speculation?

Haha, just created by fan putin and trump, maybe in future all president on the world's will also have a coin of his own ;D.

Whether scam or not, there is not much point in investing in such coins. Many such coins may be there just
to make a quick buck from investors.

they are scam and I don't think that any exchange will list them into their market,scammers are busy trying to exchange their fake  coin with your bitcoin,my advice for you is to stay away

They are just some shitcoins which came into light during US election and now they are just useless. They don't offer anything new and are just copy cat, stay away from them.

People are dumb actually, rather than naming coins on dictators or presidents, it will be better if name them on people who made the world a better place. Mother Teresa coin or Nelson Mandela Coin would have been better coin names IMO.

They are joke coins, like doge. They never promised be anything new, so in my opinion no scam.

everyone has right to create coin with any available name they want i do not know that either is is scam to create a coin with the name of a famous personality or with your own name.

Don't invest on them mostly they are Pump Dump coins as example  Putin pumped to nearly 5000sat and it's now 100 Sat only, think if you brought at 4000sat what a lose, Trump also the same scam and pump dump coin before 2 or three month trump price was 68000sat now it's only 2000 sat most devs create coin pump it sell his all coin and dump hard and forgot about it,so my recommendation  don't engage into those scam coins

This is not 2013, people won't buy coins because they are a funny joke, like happened with Dogecoin, and any of these Trump or Putin or (insert some famous name here) coin is close to be as funny as Dogecoin.

They are coins to be used for fun with coffee money at most, or for pump and dump for professional traders and insiders.

I am not sure whether it is a scam coin as there are a few other coins with the same name,

1. PutinCoin (PUT) trading around 0.00000983 BTC
2. Putin Classic (PUTIC) trading around 0.00000200 BTC
3. TrumpCoin (TRUMP) trading around 0.00002389 BTC
4. President Trump (PRES) trading around 0.00000138 BTC

But they are all trading in different exchanges and it might be a pump and dump coin,but i never traded these coins.

If you made a coin based on somebody that becomes popular in the mainstream then "somebody" will mine it due to that reason, look at all the politician become president coins that have come out.

Green, Blue, Yellow, Black, White, Orange, everyone will still buy and for histories sake "Did Buy" :D

Yes this is why i don't understand people why they are messing with coins which are created only for PnD games and this can be very dangerous for majority.
As quoted post explains there is no actual logic to enter in this, if you are not miner or got those coins as some kind of payment.

You should invest at least 1 BTC in each and every coin that is connected to Putin or Trump.

No both of them are the coinces named under the famouse celebrities of the world .
here Trump is the president of America .
So this coin is not scam but still this will take much time to grow because they have popularity but still much people are not interested in this game .
I will recommend  to buy them at small price .

But still here in my opinion I would like to suggest you that use another coins which are far more better and having big fluctuations daily , so if you can buy those coin which have daily 4-5% fluctuations then invest for them .
( keep your attention in the yobit for every coin , you will finally get experienced whether which is more better  coin and which one is worst )
