Title: Mining on GTX Titan X 12gb 384 bit
Post by: S@b on June 15, 2017, 12:26:16 PM
Hi guys, i'm just joined to mining family.. i have gpu-farm 4 of 1070 and 1 of 1080 connected.. therefore i have one empty slot and going to buy GTX Titan X 12gb 384 bit..

anyone tested? is there big difference to mine with 1080 and GTX Titan X 12gb 384 bit ?

GTX Titan X 12gb 384 bit is definitely an overkill. Stay with 1080s as they are great for density packed rig.

I have 2 Titan Xp's mining but it is more to play with and not a good GPU for just mining.   I bought them for overclocking and achieving high hashrates but the 1080 Ti is a better investment for pure mining purposes

Hi guys! Tell me please, how much sol/s gives 1 titan at Equihash?  ::)

Hi guys! Tell me please, how much sol/s gives 1 titan at Equihash?  ::)

At about 730-740 Sol/s on an overclocked and watercooled Titan X Pascal (2100MHz Core / 5600MHz Memories) for Equihash.

At stock about 680-690 Sol/s.

Just numbers, I hate nvidia for releasing such a card for 1200 USD 6 months earlier and them re-launching the full brother as Titan Xp, damn nvidia, you are too smart and know how to earn money LOL

As already said in the thread, Titan X Pascal is not a good card for mining, since the price rape and nvidia's ninja steal, 1080Ti gives the same or better hashrate and cost a lot less.

Oh, you misunderstood me ... I meant simply TITAN, not X (the past generation) 837 MHz / 6008 MHz / 6 GB / Cores 2688, etc

yeah I share this opinion the 1080ti is already a beast you don't need the overpriced titan xp which have know 1 gb more and a little  better clock stick with the 1080ti or 1080 not ti

Those numbers sound like a stock FE 1080Ti.

I have an EVGA Hybrid water cooled 1080Ti pushing out 800 sols after overclocking.

My EVGA Hybrid 1080 (not Ti) is pushing out 610.

Hi everyone,

I'm only getting 186 Sol/s Equihash with my GTX Titan X / 12 GB (original, not Pascal). I saw posts above saying around 690 Sol/s stock (no overclocking).  Can anyone tell me why my hash rate is so low?

I'm using legacy Nicehash with Nvidia 3.7.2 drivers.  I tried the newer Nicehash but it wouldn't recognize the Titan X.

Would be nice to get to know about this. Anyone who can troubleshoot?

how much would be the hashrate of two titan x mine mining, and would be good to mine with windows or with linux, many say it is better with the gtx 1080ti but the titan x have more memory capacity
