Admin, The best possible categorization for this is Market subforum, not Alt Cryptocurrencies... but not sure if this breaks site rules to advertise this substance on this site.

This item is something that would be sold on Silk Road. Google "Nootropic" for more info.

Honesty I wasn't sure where was best since I wanted to ask the alt coins community. If the mods would like to move this or advise that would be appreciated.

Our products are sold otc in the US since 2003. We sell mostly to doctors, pharmacies, and clinics.

Not sure how the term got associated with illegal drugs. We do not sell anything illegal.
After reading what it is, seems to me something that most smartshops here also sell. But many products smartshops can sell here legally, are illegal in lots of countries (for example the US). I think that is why someone associated it with illegal drugs.  :)

I would like to spend DVC, LTC and FTC on nootropics.

There is no risk in adding these coins so I say go for it!

Fantastic thank you.

No problem.

Devcoin and nootropics especially go hand in hand I think - as the developers and creatives may like to experiment with nootropics.

If I were you, I would go for the most popular coins (i.e. the ones with the highest capitalization), so that you can reach more people. http://dustcoin.com/ says that it has to be Litecoin and maybe Namecoin and PPcoin.

You can click directly on my website or

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nootropic

Clinically studied compounds for improving and/or protecting cognitive and emotional health. Most have been approved in other countries for decades, some are even approved here as a prescription drug, and the rest are sold as dietary supplements in the US.

Piracetam is considered the most popular being available since the 1960's and approved in over 100 countries.

Anyone who actively trades altcoins could use some of that! :)

So you would buy nootropics with those alt coins or just your take on this in general? Either way I appreciate the feedback.

I actually take piracetam regularly (I work in R&D, it really helps :-)) and I can recommend it to everyone. For sure I will not buy piracetam in capsules (sorry, I know cheaper sources), but that 500 g for $40 is a steal! There's some other interesting stuff, so probably I'll grab some more chemicals to save a bit on shipping costs (I'm from NL). And since I'm mining litecoins, it will be really cool to buy stuff for the currency I mine myself!

Okay, so basically non addictive and damaging drugs?

Hi,
I hold most of the altcoins and think choice is a good thing, but I would be very selective if I was to accept altcoins for my store. Personally, I think you should restrict yourselves to the coins which have existed for some time already and serve some purpose, and not all the get-rich-quick-pump'n'dump coins we have seen recently. So the ones I would consider are LTC, DVC, NMC and PPC. I would stay away from FTC, CNC, TRC, BTE and probably NVC, though I am not sure about the last one. While all the new coins are fun to mine and dump, I feel that they should at least have something novel or have some relevant improvements to the reference implementation.

Our Piracetam 800 mg 120 capsules is $15.39 and Piracetam 500 Grams is $21.99 when using bitcoins.

What website do you use?

Last time I ordered from docsimon.com:

http://www.docsimon.com/article/piracetam-al-tbl-100x-800mg

It's also 100 x 800 mg capsules. After converting EUR into USD you get $0.10 per one vs $0.128 in your case, so indeed, not a big difference after the discount. But it totally doesn't make sense now if you have 500 g bulk piracetam in store! Moreover, I'm very happy to support whomever supports bitcoins and other altcoins :-)

What are nootropics?
They make your brain work faster, smoother and with less lags. It's like an ASIC for your brain :)
On nootropics you can invent many new altcoins I guess..
And as far as I know this is legal, perscripted medicine.

No they are not nootropics but DEA controlled addictive drugs. While they can be helpful for keeping someone awake they are ineffective as true nootropics. We do not carry any illegal or DEA controlled drugs.

They are both here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nootropic

So, you are selling things you can buy anywhere.. where is the gain?

Currently we accept bitcoins but I'm open to reviewing other crypto-currencies. Any interest?

Accept Litecoin and PPcoin.

Thank you for your feedback. Can you let me know where this is traded?

PS. Anyone who posted here can pm me for a free bottle of one of our best nootropics to try out and report their feedback (good or bad just be honest) on the board. We already have had several people post their experiences on our main thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131895.0)

+1

These are the two that seem to stand the best chance of surviving for at least a moderate amount of time... just my .02

TY.

Have you used nootropics before? Or anything related?

I have used nootropics and I think your business would benefit greatly by accepting cryptocurrencies.

When I have enough coins I'll make sure to check out your site and buy some nootropics. When deciding to adopt a coin you want to look at the market cap of the different coins. Bitcoin of course, then Litecoin, then PPcoin, then Namecoin. That seems to be how it's looking and from there the smaller coins are fighting it out for market share.

Certain coins in development however you'll want to adopt right away and Netcoin is one of those coins so keep your eyes open for the release of that coin. Add Netcoin to your watchlist: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=169204.0
