Title: Checking balances of paper wallets with altcoins Post by: appleyard777 on June 16, 2017, 06:55:16 PM Hey guys/gals newb question here .... I want to move a few of my Altcoins to paper wallets for cold storage
Is there a way to check the balance of altcoins with your public key? I know its simple if you want to check the balance of a bitcoin wallet (blockchain.info, bitref etc) Two of my coins is Verge (XVG) and Mooncoin for example once I transfer my coins to my paper wallet how do I "check" to make sure they made it to the paper wallet without adding my private key to anything Thanks in advance..... maybe I am over complicating things Title: Re: Checking balances of paper wallets with altcoins Post by: oddwh on June 16, 2017, 06:59:14 PM Hello,
As bitcoin, every coin has its block explorer, so you could use this to check Try these : Mooncoin : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/moon/ Verge : https://prohashing.com/explorer/Verge/ I don't know if they work fine, it seems but I don't have these coins, I just searched on google :P With a block explorer, to resume, you can check address balances, transactions and blocks. |
