Title: Bitcointalk standard time?
Post by: DOGE12321 on June 17, 2017, 05:28:28 AM
Hi all,

I know my rank is Senior Member, but I just realised that I never knew the time difference between Bitcointalk standard time and my time. I live in Melbourne. What would the time difference be?

EDIT: Thanks.

Bitcointalk's default timezone is UTC. Melbourne Australia is UTC+10, so the forum will be 10 hours behind you. However, you can go into your profile settings and change the timezone (only for you) to your local timezone so all times will be your local time.

And it tells you the difference in your profile. If you set your time preference to your local time the menu page will show how much your local time is + or - of Forum time.

But I suggest to retain the forum time rather than local time so you can keep track on it since most of the people here based the deals, announcement, or anything alike in forum time than local time. But if you wish so and want to proceed then go ahead.
