Why not schedule a visit instead of dropping in unannounced, knowing that BFL requests visitors to schedule visits?

Best of luck of being invited in. If you had a large FedEx package and would not deny being the delivery guy then you would probably be able to take a peak ;) I mean who would want to carry something heavy into the office him/herself?

I haven't yet!  Tomorrow, Tuesday, 05/07, I will drop in. 

Kansas State Fire Code says that the front door must remain unlocked during business hours, so I'll just open in and walk in!

They are probably required to post operating hours, not necessarily have them. And of course they can refuse to do business with anyone they want. A courtesy call will probably get you a lot farther along.

Well, you do that, but unlocked door is not the same as open to the public.  Far from it, actually.

You should record video. Also, regaurding the comment about bfl being a manufacturer, they are more than just that. They have a marketing department, a manufacturing department, and about 2 - 3 others. They are in fact a business, so as the OP said, they must have "open hours" where people may stop by.

I don't think anyone's afraid of anything.  You're just being an arrogant jerk by not calling them up and scheduling a visit, when they have publicly requested that visitors do so.

These guys are busy, they don't have time to let people in to look around. You should at the very least let them know that you're coming up. They'll must likely tell you to get off their property if you just stroll up and knock on the door without giving them some kind of notice.

I assure you that they already know I am coming.

You should probably schedule a visited because I'm pretty sure while business's even if they are required to have operating hours also have the right to 'refuse service to anyone' even if you come in during their business hours. If you are in the area and planning to visit, then make sure to try and call ahead. However, include some pictures if you can, similar to how Avalon labs released pictures.

Try to make some real pictures of their real facility and post here please. Good luck!

A few points (speaking based on UK law, no idea how it translates to US law):

You can only be prosecuted for trespass if you refuse to leave the property or return after being asked to leave. Being caught is not grounds for arrest. Most people get done for Breaking & Entering

Businesses can refuse any business that they want: they're not offering a 'contract' to sell to you, you're offering a 'contract' to buy from them. They can literally turn down your business with no reason whatsoever.

And if the front door of a business with publically declared opening hours is open, that does not mean an open invitation to the public. Plus you wouldn't get past the lobby/reception usually even if you did walk in.

They've shipped out 35 of those machines so far, and a number of people have reported receiving them along with pictures and video.  It is not a pipe dream - it is a reality.

If I had thousands in preorders, I think I could pay off a few suckers to talk about how great my nonexistent equipment is.
