Title: Placing limit orders on exchange
Post by: quarternions on June 19, 2017, 12:40:29 AM
Hi I have a question, I am trying to buy BTC on Kraken and placing limit orders, but there are so many people constantly putting like 0.001 above me.
They don't look like a bot (Seen those before) but there are just so many. Using the market buy doubles the fees :(

Anyone knows of a piece of software or a trick to keep placing those limit orders? Or am I just missing something.

There are bots like that but they are often expensive.
Many people do that manually, what else to do on exchange than adjusting ur offer constantly.
Give better price you will sell faster if time is the essence.

It's definitely a bot.
I think CAT bot is able to do such thing ( placing a bit higher orders than those is in the book ) ... not sure though.

I was doing that for 30 min + (for buying) and never got through. Always made sure I bid the highest or slightly under the highest since the price would come down sometime and cancel the order.

Pretty annoying if the price is jumping up and you want in on it fast.

I know about three long time running and by users here verified bots.
Gunbot, loenArdo and CAT ... find their ANN thread for pricing and to get picture what it can do.
