Title: automated trading with low fees
Post by: makertaker on June 19, 2017, 07:43:10 AM
Hey peoples

I will get started in bitcoin and altcoin trading. I have my strategy.

I would like this thread to be about ways to trade cryptocurrencies with low fees.

Share your trading platforms. Which one do you use?
what are the advantages of using your platform?

Do you people use bots for automated trading?

I hope to inspire many people :)

Automated trading is about using bots clearly. A bot won't help you If you have no idea about trading though, because It only do the tasks that you actually ask them to do, It's not an AI. We have a few trading bots on the market right now like Gunbot and C.A.T and a new one called LeonArdo.
The platform I use is Poloniex because It has the highest trading volume, so It's just a matter of time until your buy and sell orders get filled, the limits are good, no need to verify your ID or anything unless you trade a lot.

I'd suggest not to use automated trading bots, simply because bots can't think, understand or realize. Do it yourself, it will be better for you.
About the platforms, I'm using Poloniex, I think its the most reliable one, but there is also bittrex that has good reputation.

thank you for the almost instant replies.

can I use poloniex only to exchange bitcoin for altcoins?
I am looking for a website where I can exchange bitcoin for a fiat-currency like US Dollar or Euro.

Yes. Poloniex is meant for BTC/Alts only. If you want to get involved with fiat as well then you have Coinbase, Kraken, Bitfinex and a few others. See this list: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ and check where there is a BTC/USD ticker.
