I see on a lot of the exchanges it warns not to transfer directly from mining pool to an exchange or from an exchange to another exchange. Just wondering why that is? Before I noticed the warning, I had been successfully mining FTC and having the pool deposit directly into btc-e with no issues... I also transferred some BTC directly from btc-e to bter with no issues. So why the warning? Note: Since seeing the warning I've started using wallets as intermediaries,... would just be a lot simpler if the exchanges could double as wallets. your mining pool doesn't give you your own address... a wallet does |
