Base on my understanding Segwit : Reduce Transaction Size so more transaction can be made in 1 block BTU : Increase the block size to 2MB Segwit2x is the combine of both? Or its some other specification update? I couldn't find any information about the difference on google Next, what is all those BIPxxx thing? Post by: Red-Apple on June 20, 2017, 01:43:45 PM if by BTU you mean bitcoin unlimited, it doesn't just increase the block size limit to 2 MB it is doing it dynamically and gives the decision of how much to increase fully to miners as far as i know. also it changes a couple of other things

Now theres BIP 148 which the users themselves attempt the soft fork and theres also a BIP 149 and Segwit 2x?
