Title: zcash miner 0.3.4b error exit code 46 GTX 1070 1060 950
Post by: the8bitMan on June 20, 2017, 04:14:30 PM
I am running:
Windows 7 64bit
Motherboard: MSI Z170A M5
CPU: Intel i-6700k
RAM: 2x Corsair 8gb
PSU: Corsair CX750
GPU's: EVGA GTX 1070 8gb, Asus GtX 1060 3gb, PNY GTX 950 2gb all with stock settings with latest geforce drivers just upped the fan speed on each to about 80% with a box fan directly pointed at the cards.

I can run each of these cards by themselves no problem but any time I try to run any of these cards together in any combination after just a couple minutes it throws an error saying
"gpu appears stuck attempting to restart"
"Exiting with code 46"
The 1060 and the 1070 run just fine on Claymore Dual miner v 9.5 so I know the cards are good.
I tried to use nvidia-smi to find the best supported clocks but only the 950 will display supported clock speeds the 1070 and 1060 just say N/A

###UPDATE###

I reinstalled the driver with a clean install and shut down my computer and physically unplugged it then turned it back on and I can get it to mine with all 3 cards on stock settings no problem.
However now any time i try to overclock any of the cards even just a little bit it throws the same error stated in OP and even if I hard reset my computer it wont mine again even back on stock
setting unless I reinstall the whole driver again. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm suing the lates version of EVGA Precision OC.

I was dealing with this happening every 5-60 minutes yesterday when I was messing with OC settings and turning it up higher than normal.

It seems from my minimal research last night that code 46 is related to too high of an OC/unstable OC settings for the EWBF miner. Try just lowering your TDP/+Core and it should stop throwing code 46.

Worked for me anyway.
