Don't want to be a dick to people. Just felt that it was needed to show what kind of 'fans' this coin has and how serious the exchange seems to be.

I tried to talk with them about it, asking that they at least require that the threads have some useful content, rather than just spam.

It seems mostpeople are unhappy about missing out on the easy coins at the start more than anything and hold a grudge. Bitbar also had extreme rewards for the people that browse the alt-forum 24-7. But instead of 3 days you only had a few hours to get any bitbars, after that the reward dropped to pretty much nothing.
