I believe litecoin will soon dump hard back to 15 dollars and it's not sure if it's going to bounce back again. I advice you to sell your coins before this imminent dump happens

I think they have possible that litecoin back at $15 but I think this not this year because litecoin start to increase and I believe the price of litecoin after few months will hit $100. So if you want more profit buy it now and dont sell it. My opinion friend .

if you look only on technical analysis and make decisions based only of them, then you suck at this. there is lots of things which affects the price. and stock market and crypto market are not the same. some rules are different here. you need to get that first.

many old skool crypto people moved something to ltc from btc as a safe(ish) haven from the bs with btc atm, so Litecoin's price (and value) are a bit at the mercy of what happens with bitcoin.

(although anyone using all caps in the headline saying a coins being dumped is likely to be looking at entry into said coin).

Looking at daily chart I do not see a single lower low  since June 14.

Expected as the aftermatch of the Bitcoinwisdom pump, but still a bit delayed. Or maybe has something to do with Segwit probably being activated on Bitcoin, much of LTC hype has to do with LTC having Segwit and BTC not.

But still a good rise for Litecoin, before the pump the ratio ltc/btc was 0.012 and lower, now still is above 0.016

Notice your step is not the time to throw away but on the contrary at the time like this we must dare to buy and save, if still hesitate wait some time again and the price will surely rise again.
Calm the mind and do not rush to make a decision.

OP is known lover of LTC i guess, in every thread i see his apocalyptic predictions for LTC. Why? Buy now and sell tomorrow when hit 0.02. if you do not have nerves to wait for a longer. It is still very early to talk about dump, it is interesting for all from an outsider he became most interesting coin this year..

LTC is currently doing better than ETH

I can't believe it's worth what it's worth these days. Sure it was the first altcoin and all, but there's tons of them out there and they're really not too difficult to mine if you have an asic scrypt miner. If I had anything to do with it, I would only value Litecoin at about $5-$10.

Not at all... litecoin is promising. If you hold it you will win for sure. If you sell it now its a dumb idea ..

You only win on news and pure speculation, just amazingly good for margin trading on news coming, apart that, unfortunately there is no value at all. Just a guinea pig of BTC with one pool controlling 58% of hashpower.

It hit 37USD on kraken, I would expect it to be around 30-35USD for some time!

Literally every coin is red the last couple days.
I wouldn't be dumping anything unless you have some inside knowledge.
Most coins will be back up 10 to 20% in the next week.

Exchange the btc into what right now? I was thinking about ltc, but idk...

I advice you to buy litecoin because even the price dumo for sure it will back again to the price and it will recover again. But as of now litecoin not dump and the price is slowly increasing and I believe the price of litecoin before the end of this year will be $100 and I hope it will happen . More investor to come in litecoin, buy more and hold it until they reach $100 so you can make a lot of profit.

I sure hope you are right, but right now the prices is looking bleak, especially for me since I bought Litecoin at $47.40!  :(

Yeah I bought for the long term, after reading all the positive news with Segwit being successfully implented and the Litecoin founder quitting his job to work full time on Litecoin.

I also exchanged fiat to buy Litecoin and long-term I am 100% that Litecoin is better than paper money, so it is not so bad! :D

But yeah, it always makes you feel like a fool when you buy at the peak!  :-\

We fudsters will eventually win and litecoin will be dumped to the ground and fear will win. Then litecoin is having it's real valuation.

Litecoin broke above the $33-$34 resistance and ran to $50 resistance. Now it has come down and retested
the $34 area that should be support now. If it stays above $33-$34, then it is bullish and will go back to $50
on next rally.

Bought at $65 like 2 weeks ago.
Who knows if it will be there again ..

If you trust bitcoin, you can trust litecoin in the same time because they're like brothers. Assians generally control the price of bitcoin and litecoin. They know when to react and how to react. Also remember it was only $3 on january 2017.

This makes no sense. While it may dump, there's no reason to believe it'd dump as hard as you're suggesting..

If anything it's likely to stay the same of go up in the near term.

It is probably the best option to dump LTC and waiting a big brother forking,
later I can buy more coin even from its forking.

I predict that LTC will go back higher later.

Could you give some facts and data to back up your claims? I have been buying LTC, consider this a decent coin due to fast transactions and low transaction costs compared to BTC.

1. Is Litecoin going to get replaced by another testnet coin for testing BTC functionality? Not that I am aware of.

3. There is a clear negative from China cracking down on crypto which has been a traditional source of LTC buying. Much of this volume is being replaced by South Korea and Japan. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/litecoin/#markets

Many coins have fast transactions and low transaction cost, I think litecoin is not a great investment.

I think litecoin is very overvalued now, it is nothing but a copy of bitcoin, like a chinese fake brand basically. Rather buy bitcoin.

That's a pretty ignorant statement, cherrypicking on some facts but conveniently leaving out others. Yes it was a copy of Bitcoin at a foundational level. And when it was trading below $5 for the longest time, this was its true value. I love Bitcoin too, but if you really like it, then you should appreciate the fact that its little brother Litecoin has been the testing ground for every new technology that Bitcoin adopted this year.

Remember SegWit? Yup, Thank Litecoin. And when Bitcoin has Lightning Network, don't forget to thank Litecoin.

you bumped a 4 month old topic to say this!!!

litecoin price was about $4 earlier this year and it went up and continued rising to high values. by the time this topic was created price was still low around $30 something like that. and it still is rising.
you obviously came in late and invested after the price was in the ATH and again obviously price went down in a correction to about $50 and it is staying around that price despite all the drama and FUD that is around and the dumps that happen because of it!

Just wait for it,
it will get back to before and higher.
