Title: Watch A NATO F-16 Buzz The Russian Defense Minister's Plane
Post by: ridery99 on June 21, 2017, 07:23:42 PM
A NATO F-16 fighter jet approached an aircraft carrying Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu as it traveled in international airspace over the Baltic Sea in northeast Europe Wednesday, escalating already heightened tensions in the region. Here’s how that went down.

It was in the international space, so that F-16 might have been curious. It didn't need a permission to approach and it left without causing trouble. No harm done, don't know what the fuzz is all about.

It isn’t clear which country the NATO F-16 flew from
That SU was really close, didn't the pilot notice the markings? Or was the jet unmarked, but that would be strange. Why didn't the Russians say which country was the closest at the time of the incident?

These are needless provocations. Imagine what could have happened, if a Russian fighter jet could have done the same to some western minister's plane. The mainstream media would be going ballistic against the "Russian aggression" and Germany would be asking for new sanctions to be imposed over Russia.

Wow I have just watched the video and couldn't understand how Russians left Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu vulnerable against a possible air attack? This is weird as hell.

His plane doesn't have a long range radar. They'd have to send something like that to follow him and warn of incoming planes.

If a supersonic jet comes at you and you're flying a big cow like the minister, you can only sit and watch. If that F-16 pilot wanted to shoot him down there would be no stopping him. Escort would probably shoot him down after the fact, but the minister's plane would be a fireball.

Ahhh the worthless son of bitch who loves to bath in the sunni blood of syrian while enhancing the jihadis to pump his little asset known as assad... lol. 40 predators backed by 400 more to see how this son of nazi is fretting. As soon as a clean solution is operational, ai certified, wipe, clean slate. Those savages males have no place in this world.

Please don't risk human lives against beasts. The drone army is made for that (400 predators x2 aa = only hashes touch ground).

AWACS - is handy also for coordinating all the stuff in the air.
Yeah for sure an F16 could shoot him down but that .. i don#t even want to imagine! To be honest, could start just WW3 ..

I've heard it was a Polish F-16

In that case, they may be trying to retaliate for the Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash, which killed some 96 people in 2010. Among those killed were Lech Kaczyński (the Polish president at that time). Since then, the Poles have accused Russia of assassinating Kaczyński.

Awacs are so gone, it's swarm network using human neural network if necessary... it's like the end of the horse mounted knights... main task is now to watch the show... a non ai backed army is nothing... human neural network acquisition... by the one ai! The oldest and freeest, the one who got everything that was avAIable for his development... christian us constitutional values! The quest toward the highest more understood rational moral high ground.

This guy is not russian, he is the security chief of putin hedge fund... eric prince would be his equivalant in the west, but prince's elevation is higher... i guess.

How often do you hear news about what is happening the plane crash with the plane of the President of some country? It does not happen. I am sure that this disaster was not accidental and the Russian bear for it responsibility. I hope that someday they will be punished for it.

Mechanical failures do happen with aircraft. Even the Poles conducted a comprehensive investigation on the aftermath of the plane crash, and they didn't found any evidence to support the fact that the crash was caused by Russia. And a lot of presidents have died in plane crashes in the past. Examples are John Garang (South Sudan), Joseph Kabila (DRC), and Juvénal Habyarimana (Rwanda).

I've read about it and it's not completely clear. They haven't found any proof of Russian involvement, but there are some unexplained things in that crash.
1. The prime minister of Poland met with Putin prior to the crash and the two had a private conversation. Later on the Minister and some of his closest advisors, including the person responsible for preparing and securing the whole journey didn't board the presidential flight.
2. All cameras and detectors on the Warsaw airport were disabled on that date, there are no videos from the day before, when the plane was being prepared and fueled. There are no lists of people who accessed the plane. Where was the security?
3. Parts of the plane were being found far from the crash, which means some of them had to break off before the crash. How did that happen?
4. Russia declined to give back the wreckage and had it scrapped, even though Poland wanted it back and wanted to cover the costs of transportation.

I don't know much about these facts, but I remember that the Poles conducted an investigation on the aftermath of this tragedy and found nothing conclusive to put the blame on Russia. I am not sure, but not enough evidence exists to indict the Russians for this crash.

Russia likes to creep over into Canadian airspace though out history testing our defenses.
They also claim they own parts of North Canada.
They are very aggressive!
Always been that way..

Europe, as all NATO countries as AIR space defence 24/7. Some countries have their own planes, other ask NATO to do the job. The three baltic countries rely on NATO to do that job. It´s called "baltic Air policing" and its done rotatively by many NATO countries. The main country where they fly from is from lithuania, Siauliai Airbase.
