Definitely not such pointless threads. Only post if you have some substantial thoughts to share, otherwise just read. It is not mandatory to post, right?

What is this forum about? If you are going to post, post things that are relevant to the topic and is correct. Please do not post them unnecessarily. People whom I would consider to be good posters are in: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608655 and the ones like Shorena and dannyhamilton.

Please don't view signature campaigns as a way to earn money, they shouldn't be. They are more of a reward for posting than anything else.

Actually that depends on the topic you wish to reply. If the topic says "What shpuld I post" then reply that is related and should be of quality and constructive in the sense that it contains value, added additional information that is not just expressing your appreciation or compliment.

Thanks! 》 not acceptable
That is a nice campaign! 》 not acceptable

And alike.

But it is allowed to say that i.e. together with a new idea. Example:

Thanks! But maybe you can add some (recommendation). 》 acceptable
That is a nice campaign! (Explain why and you may add some criticisms and suggestion). 》 acceptable

Bitcointalk does not only tackle about Bitcoin (though mainly) since it diversified itself where you can browse some post regarding Politics & Society and etc.

Like what the person said above me:

Please don't view signature campaigns as a way to earn money, they shouldn't be. They are more of a reward for posting than anything else.

What example do you mean man? Don't you know why this forum exist and what's main subject here? So since you type bitcointalk I think you know. Help others if you have knowledge or if you need help in bitcoin/blockchain/altcoin make a question.
Hope in examples you don't mean "quality" posts for signature, if it's your only goal, that's bad.

You don't need to post anything here except for question that you can't answer or research. Since this forum is way to enhance knowledge about bitcoin. But first, you need to read the rules and how things work here from which that's mostly all newbies needs to do. You can reply to Post made by others if you have any Idea on what the topic his made.
Remember that unconstructive post, and Spamming are not allowed and may get you banned in this site. Quality of post are being watched by mods especially those who joined Signature Campaigns.

If you don't have anything to say, then just don't post, please. It will be best for everyone here. Simple? I think yes.

That's ridiculous,  because they are definitely a way to earn money, and in a lot of countries it can be a substantial amount.   Dirt poor people who can't write English know this and flock here in droves and thereby pollute the water supply.   What we need is some big guns doing border security--and things like smas help.

As to OP, your question is a ridiculous one and this is not a good way to start out.  Try reading the rules and just plain old reading in general.

When you view them as a source of income rather than a reward for contributing to the community, you are going to abuse it. To gain as much as possible, you are going to farm hundreds of accounts to earn about less than $300 per month. If you're in some third world country, they probably don't have internet at all due to their high cost. Its way more effective to work at a local macdonalds or something. Its not about how they cannot speak English, its about how they don't put effort in any of their posts.

I'm not saying SMAS isn't effective. It is, but how are you going to regulate the spams from the alt coin section etc?

Just take a look at the board overview. Each category has a short description about what should be posted in it. Also take a look at other threads within a board to get some inspiration  :)

The best example would be to ask yourself why you are here? Are you here to learn about bitcoin and other cryptocurriencies and other related stuff? What made you decide to sign up on this site and who told you about bitcointalk.

If you are indeed here for the signature campaigns, you should make sure you read all the sticky threads in this forum.
Pay special attention to this one - Signature Campaign Guidelines
