We are accustomed together and not just Hinduism, the various religions in one region and we enjoy it. Coincidentally, the Fast of the Holy Apostles began this year on June 12th and ends on June 29th with the Feast of SS. Peter and Paul. It is one of the lesser fasts of the Eastern Orthodox religion. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are strict fast days - no meat, no dairy, no wine and no oil. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we can have wine and oil but still no meat no dairy and on Saturdays and Sundays we can include wine, oil and fish but still no meat or dairy. Generally, any of the meals we take will be much smaller than normal during this time.
