Title: "The last block update occurred 29 minutes ago."
Post by: elektra on June 22, 2017, 07:42:23 PM
I noticed when you want to withdraw from Bittrex there is a message like "The last block update occurred 29 minutes ago."

Does this matter and is it better to send when a new block has just beenupdated? I have noticed that fees are sometimes different, is it cheaper to send when a block has just updated?

When the last block updated goes over 30 mins, I have noticed the message is yellow, signifying that it is a sort of "warning"?

I always send no matter what and I always get my coins in less than 30 - 2 hours max  the only different is when there is block update delay and I

withdraw  It not appear instant on my wallet as unconfirmed but i still do get it fast as i said maybe around 2 hours max . and about the fee it always

make me pay 0.001 i think it is fixed it was low before 0.0002  around 1-2 months ago  .

Normally? No.

If the time gets excessively large, it could be a warning sign that there is a possibility of a split/fork in the blockchain.

If a block has actually occured significantly more recently, then it could be an indication that Bittrex is not communicating properly with the rest of the Bitcoin network.

I have noticed that fees are sometimes different, is it cheaper to send when a block has just updated?

It is cheaper to send when there have been less people than average sending transactions recently.  The time since the last block is not an indicator of likely fees.
