Are you living in California, then we have a good news for you. According to the article i quote "First Bitcoin Capital Corp (BITCF) and Simple Automated Money, Inc (SAMCO) have announced a partnership to introduce check-cashing Bitcoin ATMs into Northern California’s high traffic markets".

This is just the first phase since this will be just a trial and if it succeeds we can expect a lot more machines not only in Northern California but to many states in America.

That's Awesome. I'm originally from Northern California and wish we had the ATM's rolling out where I am now. It's stuff like this that could lead to wider adoption and use of crypto currencies and is exactly what needs to happen if we are ever going to squash fiat.

This is really a good news for those bitcoin users who are living on Northern California on which they would really be a good use of this atm on that area and on this way it can somehow boost up the curiousity of bitcoin and awareness and might really increase up more bitcoin users on that place which means adoption is more likely to get big and we know if theres demand then price would eventually rise up too.

Bitcoin as convenient as it is will be more convenient to those living in Northern California. Also this is like an advertisement and a good publicity for Bitcoin which will make more people to join in. Hoping that there will be more like this since it would be good for everyone overall.

For now, Bitcoin ATMs aren't much good.  They're nice as a concept, but ordinary ATMs just transfer between fiat and digital fiat.  We're talking about a new currency altogether.

The fees on these things must be an absolute godsend to their owners.  The ones in my area have fees of >5%, and sometimes even >10%.

For anything other than a gimmick, it's not that significant.  Just buy online or on  LocalBitcoins (http://LocalBitcoins.com).

That said, hopefully it helps to raise awareness of Bitcoin in the local area.

That's cool! I live in Serbia and doubt that bitcoin ATM will appear here soon. Maybe only mass adoption by other countries. Here not so many people know about bitcoin and if know they don't hurry to earn on it, counting it's too hard and skeptical generally.

That's great business related with bitcoins, unfortunately there are no many people who know about
this chance to getting profit from business with bitcoins ATM, bitcoins still not be considered
as good for build business except just for to be traded on the markets,
however bitcoins is still new and the investors are no trust in bitcoins.

If this is really going to happen then it will be good news for the users in the state of California but the issue here is that since the  USA government has not taken a stand on the issue of bitcoin, how sustainable will this be? Over here the CBN is in charge of regulating any issue that concerns money with a lot of conditions to be met. This is equally something I expect to be in other countries as well.

This is good news though not in the country where I live. When does this apply in Asean countries?
Europe probably will not wait long to use Bitcoin ATM.

The bitcoin atm installation is still in the experimental stage. They hope to install three machines on California and possibly they will study and observe how it will be patronized by the masses. If it becomes successful then we can expect and expansion not only in California but the whole of the United States. Let us just hope that there are no hindrance to their plans so that we may see bitcoin atms spread across America. But if the government will take a stand against bitcoin then that will be the greatest obstacle that the company will face.

Wow, again add a country that accept btc and set up ATM btc system. Obviously, btc is gradually asserting its place in the present and certainly in the future btc will appear in more places ... People are looking forward to this. I think in the future, users will be connected through many trading systems but expect not to lose the features that users love.

It's really good news I wish the same could be happen in my country soon I would be happiest person . Even exchanges make plan to create ATM in major cities I think there will be huge transaction charge for withdrawing money using bitcoin  ATM .
