The plurality of the posts on this sub-forum are about coins which have already pumped 30x. Responses are generally meaningless "What coin should I invest in for 100x return in 5 minutes?" "Via!"

After a few weeks of observing this forum, articles, etc. my perception is: The current market is way too hot, whale driven, peppered with idiots that are going to get skinned alive when/if this Asian money dumps. My outlook is to invest month over month, dollar cost averaging, over the foreseeable future. If there is a bubble, won't matter too much, if there isn't, such is life.

Curious to know:
Coins with lower market caps which you believe have potential over the longer term (months/1-2 years... Not days/weeks).
What are the actual reasons that you like this coin.

If there is anyone else out there who is looking to diligently research their picks, to invest in from a value perspective, as oppose to riding a market pattern(gambling), feel free to private message me so we can share thoughts on an ongoing basis.

My current favorites are: Nothing(yet)! I want to dig into the whitepapers, research the devs, the community, ETC.

Edit: Here are some coins that I am looking to RESEARCH based off my correspondence with members, my limited experience thus far...
1. LTC should be trading at 1:10 on BTC (undervalued)
2. I am looking to -research- the following coins: Verge, Nexus, Shift, Bitbay, Ubiq, Waves, and POSW --- Moderate interest in STEEM, VIA, SIA.

I wish there was someone expert who simply list the most interesting/unique tech behind a coin which can be developed in few months, the only way to get a 50x is to invest in this sort of coins and wait, i'm new to the game and i'm doing lot of mistakes with day trading and jumping from coin to coin, i think the only way to make real good profit is understand the value of the tech but i'm having hard time to full understand the value, for example i read the ethereum ANN and for me is the same of other 50 coins i have read in this days, the only good thing i can think with real future are the "supercomputer" coins but they doesn' seems to grow as i expected

Your best bet is to to do your own research. If you rely on others they will take advantage of you. For example, I watched a YouTube guy with thousands of subcribers. He put out good videos. Later I realized he posted coins he was heavily invested in and pumped his own coins

Then I followed folks on Twitter. Again they pumped their own coin

Everyone will tell you what they have invested in . so be cautious cause they want profits

I agree there, however it can be helpful sometimes to find out about coins you didn't know about thanks to others. Of course I always check by myself afterwards but sometimes I came across good investment opportunities thanks to others. Opportunities I would probably have missed if I was on my own..

Everybody telling you "do x or y" are doing it on their own advantage.

99% of people telling you that "this coin is good" can't wait for a pump so they can dump it.

For x100 you should look at coins which can make deals with big companies in the market. ex. ripple it already made pass it. But new ones will be: matchpool, humaniq, patientory.

Have a look at Espers (ESP2),
I don't see much risk but I see 100x potential, do some research

I like the outlook on both Komodo (KMD) and Antshares (ANS) (soon to be NEO). Komodo is new, with a new team, and high aspirations. But looking at just that aspiration: (1) a new decentralized exchange, (2) utilization of POW and ZCoin, (3) and it's backed by SuperNET. I'm excited to see where this one goes.

Antshares is in the process of rebranding. But if they can successfully do so, we're talking full integration in China - a country already heavily involved in digital payments. I am also excited to see where this one goes.

Both white papers look good, with good ideas and good tech.

Komodo is not new, nor does it have new devs. Jl has been around for a while  now

roulette token and etheroll.

If they can capture even a small percentage of total online gambling revenue, given that they are profit sharing/dividend paying, we could be talking huge revenue figures and great for investors.

...the Komodo coin is new. I understand the company is not.

The chart on Antshares looks really good. Looks like now would be a good time to buy. Can see the price possibly going up a little bit today. In fact, i've made a few dollars just in the time I've been typing this message. But, I don't see it going 100x anytime soon.

Did you even look at the ESP2 richlist on the block explorer?

Top 10 wallets have a LOAD of coins the 2 firsts a millionaire if sold.

ESP2 already pumped up 300%.

I will go for gamecredits and the mobileGo application as they are focusing towards esport contest which is exponantially growing as a market and where actual real player which are often familiar with the digital world and all its branches, will be able to challenge each other on their favourite games and earn money through it !

since when thats a big deal on picking coins? and how would you know that its not an exchange wallet? the rich list is there for a reason, every coin have some fat wallets!
espers have a good development team (the same as insane coin which is around 4k) and have something new to provide,
at the price around 35 satoshi buying in a coin with solid development team with a proven work is a no brainer.

Safex is a coin with no wallet at this moment but listed on Bittrex! It's a few pennies and when they finish development it could go 100x it's not impossible !

Is this jerry banfield? Your statement is very true in terms of taking hyped news in any social media about a specific coin because there is a 100 percent chance that if a individual promotes a crypto coin he/she is taking a revenue from it because there is no way that you will spend and work with your time with no value in return. I really hate this guys so better research alone with the potential of a coin.

Oh, but why do your own research when you can create shitpost-magnet topics such as this one (no offense, OP), where--as you said--people just come here to hype their own shit du jour and also get paid via sig campaigns.  It's such a beautiful arrangement.  The hole this forum is swirling into so very much resembles bathroom plumbing.  No one here is out for your best interest.  I say leave these idiotic, sucker-trapping, shit ridden coins alone.  Just don't buy them, don't trade them, and don't even think about them.  Stay with bitcoin and limit your exposure to this forum.

Some coins with unique projects. golem and sonm, rlc, cloud computing. quantum resistance ledger, new blockchain. ripple, stellar, payments. stratis, antshares, counterparty, ubiq, rise, cheaper ethereum. waves, decentralized exchange. mysterium, shift, decentralized internet. numeraire, wings, gnosis, prediction markets. some others, i/o coin, internet of people, aragon, apx, ark, omni, all unique projects. Lunyr is decentralizing information, like wikipedia. Library credits could be the new youtube. voxels, databits, vr and ar videogame coins.

if i were to hold a coin for long term investment i would go for Waves , Iota , Heat im not sure if my profit would be 100x but its a guarantee it will make a huge profit to those who will hold
