Title: Investors for mining rig needed - Your own managed GPU
Post by: valduz10 on June 23, 2017, 11:21:32 AM
Hi,

I want to create a mining rig for a dual miner and I am looking for investors. Instead of sending your money to a mining pool with no real transparency you would here be the owner of the physical GPU's. I will send you the receipt and you can withdraw the mined coins daily, after 9 months or so the physical GPU will be sold and you receive the sale price. Is anyone interested here to join?

Minimum to invest would be about $300 in btc for one GPU.

An interesting concept, but you need to list out more details and why people should trust you. In the early days of mining, there were similar efforts to pool resources to purchase miners and a few took the money and ran.

People could directly buy components at amazon and insert my address as shipping address. The price of the parts they order would be equal to the share of the coins they get from the total price. So if the whole rig costs $3,000 and you order something for $300 you get 10% of the coins.

Do you have any experience in mining?
Which coins do you want to mine?
How much do you pay for electricity?
Do you take any fees for hosting the mining?

Where is the location of the mining rig? Please provide more details on the expenses and any costs payable to your company.

Is there any reason that the physical GPU will be sold in 9 months?

The location is Germany, 9 months was just an example. We could run it as long as it is profitable.

Wait, wait, what is in there for you? You do not mention this part. Also, Germany s got one of the highest electricity prices in Europe, can you provide some calculation about expected profitability pls?

Of course I would get a share of the mined coins, electricity is free and included in my rental agreement.

You're sure you got enough free electricity for mining?
A lot of people say they got free electricity, but that's often only if you don't use too much electricity...
Would be a nasty surprise if you'd have to pay 30 cents/kWh for anything above the free 50 kWh per month...

Hello just one question. Can you post the agreement for your free electricity fee so that we can determine that you are saying the truth. And next, are you willing to give you a copy of your personal id or a video interview for yourself so that we can assure that you are serious on this mining service. I personally want to build mining rig but the problem is the price is too expensive especially on buying gpu.

You didnt elaborate even more on what is your location and on where those gpu would operate. You just simply said about your plan without thinking off the important information which potential investors would always seek out and first thing it would really be hard to trust into a newbie who proposes for mining with a $300 minimum payment. No one would fall for this.

I mean, this doesn't sound like the greatest idea and without any kind of plan in place, then I'd give this a miss.

Free power? How?
Location?
Mining background?
GPU shortage worldwide, where are you buying from?
Security? Why would anyone trust you?

Hope nobody would fall for anything like this.

300$? That is quite huge amount men and how can you assure that your investor would surely get the share upon investing at you? And also could you please try to escalate and tell us on what mining hardwares are you using onhere since if you tell that you will used cheap ends hardwares well that would be the shittiest thing we could see here since mining is currently determine as underdog interms of profit generating sites right now.
