Title: Is a public pool worker possible?
Post by: SeW900 on June 20, 2011, 03:34:48 AM
Hi there,

I've just registered and I have a technical/pool mining question but as I'm still a newbie, guess this thread will be located in this section of the board :p

Anyway, if for example I have a worker registered at deepbit or slush's, will everything function properly if I continue to use the same username and password on multiple different computers (say three computers at my home and five-six at the lab)? Thanks for the help!

It's probably best if you use different workers for each GPU/PC.

Yes, but it will be more difficult for you to tell if one of them is not working/running.

BTC Guild for example wants you to make separate usernames for each of your workers
