Dcorp, litecoin, strats, zcash. To me Dcorp a democratic crytocurrency has the best future. Many people are buying into it and most of the developer are just people. Litecoin is currently under value and because of this in no time litecoin will be trading above $$200.

We're going through a bullish price rally so I don't think that it's a good time to judge currencies based on their rallying price or bubbling markets. IMHO technology is ok but likely innovation hides behind bling bag holders that are looking to advertise their investment.

i will like to chose Etherium because i have too much trust on Etherium as compare to other altcoin. and i will like to invest in Etherium but currently  have invested most of my assets in bitcoin and some saved amount in cash which i have for daily use.

They have many coin is good but As of now the ethereum coin is better compared to all altcpin because the is increasing weekly and if you see the price of this coin last year ago the price is very cheap but as of now its very high and I believe the price will increase more like $1000 bfore the emd of this year. I also suggest zcash its look like ethereum price. But ethereum is more potentail compared to zcash.

There is always posts in this forum asking which coin should be invest in or which coin is better. People should know that cryptocurrencies world is completely unpredictable. No one knows what will happen to prices. If we know that which coin price will increase. All of us buy it and all of other coins will dump.

Too many coin is a good for the longterm investment, But If you're looking the good coin for trading and just try to get the coin with a lot of volatility to support your trading. That gives the more opportunity for you to take the more profit. I think top 20 marketcao is realiable coin for you.

Theres no favorites actually, it depends on how market reacts and when I see a lot of activities like a sudden jump in volume I expect a sudden increase of price but the price may not increase right away, it may take a few minutes before the price changes and go up.

I think better coin to trade right now is LSK because have fast moving price charts so when the price is low time to buy and sell at high price.  :)

Or if you dare to risk try a new coin that has good potential, there are a lot of here and before some have been mentioned by the members. But my advice do not take too long to trade on new coins, because it usually ends up losses. So it is better to take the safe despite having good potential.

As investment for a longer time i would rather go with coins with good plans, i would try to avoid ico-s if possible. Past period was very good but this doesnt mean this will continioun whole year. Be aware and invest smart, majority of  pumps now are false. Or at least be smart and take profit don't wait you wont become rich.

Although everyone is going to say the coins they have invested in. So you should check yourself too, take a look at the graph of the coins on coinmarketcap, the coins which have graph gone downwards for a while now and is consistent now for some time, will probably be heading upwards soon.

I must say I agree. These surely are long term coins. A few months ago LTC was under 0.004 now its 0.017 amazing !! The other coins you speak of are performing well amd are good for long term.

There are many coin who's better for trading but every coin those legit coin has a exact time to pump or increase the price. For me the best coin to trade is eth, there are so many people trading eth so there will be a lot of volatility and it can be a long term investment, other than that xrp and stratis also good for trading, I dont suggest not famous coin because when it falls it will be hard to go up

One must defined a set of criteria for "good", "bad", "better" concerning altcoins since most of the common sense seem to stop functioning in this area. I often feel quite confused how to judge one coin from another.

It is true that the ETH is very popular since it is widely accepted as payment for more and more ICO projects. However, the price is very high in my opinion. I think the XAS is an undervalued coin since it is restricted in Chinese exchanges and it will have a bright future with better side-chain technologies than the LISK in my opinion.

I think we should not make ourselves confuse, because those people who have already invested their money in bitcoin they need to stay there and do not need to withdraw their investment from bitcoin because the price of bitcoin already increasing and can cross $3000 in few days and after which it will even cross $4000 very soon. So, they need to hold their bitcoins and not to sell it.

Actually, there are many coins that you buy or can use to make a good profit. I absolutely agree that ethereum is one of the best coins that you can buy and sell it in a high price to gain more profit. Lastly, try to invest your money in ethereum because I think the price of it will increase in the near future.

I like ETH, and it just moved up a bunch yesterday (I did not buy any, but wish I would have been able to)...hard to tell if its gonna keep going up or crash back down a bit...if I had a few $$ I would buy some now and just sit on it for a year...if the price goes down again buy more...if the price goes up hurray for everyone. :)

We can't even say what cryptocurrency coin is the best choice to trade in exchange of big money because of its high price on the market because time to time they change their values and they are just stacked from one another. Judging or comparing altcoin prices nowadays shows that users are now finding a best way to earn money by means of trading. If I will going to base my answer of what coin is the better or best coin to use in trading, I think it will be ETH because whenever I see advertisement campaigns or projects launched, ETH is really a great demand which can simply imply that it is the one trusted by the users to have the potential of gaining more money through its high value of price.

For me ETH is better than other altcoin because the price movement is so good always up. Although last week ETH having network problems but it does not last long.

There is no specifically best coin to trade since all of them could crush and pump immediately. For some reason, we should be more strategic in trading so we can take an advanatage of that event by simply checking the charts, news, and its support/resistance.

I think they're different things.
A good coin for trading is one that has a generally stable average price, but a lot of volatility around that average.
A good coin for a long-term hold would involve a lot of research into the team, their plans, what they want to achieve, chances of them achieving it, competitors, etc. I'd go with ETH and/or XRP for the hold, but % returns won't be as much as if you can identify a really solid smaller coin with a tiny marketcap - which is obviously difficult, because as soon as people start investing in them, they stop being a small coin.

The question does not make any confusion I guess. It is straightforward and asking which coin is best currently for trading. The question also relates to altcoins and not specifically for bitcoins. People can still choose to invest into alt coins as and when they would like to do so. Bitcoin, well everyone knows that it is at its peak level and growing along with the time! But many of us love to trade with alt coins as well to get quick profits on daily and weekly basis. Some of them think it as steady income and some try it out for fun. So its better to list the coins you would think will grow in a good way to trade with for profits. :-)

Oh by the way my best coin currently is CRB and OTX. They are at the lowest point currently but will gain the pump soon enough and you can make 20-30X profit from your investment. Try it. :-)

I think we should choose Monero in today than Ethereum, because in early this year Ethereum has increased up to high price while Monero still keep it's price and not have more change. The hot trend for this month is Monero and choose altcoin hot trend for trading short term Monero will better than Ethereum.

Yeah monero can be better in short term but if you have a plan for long term holding then you won't find a better coin then ETH as the price has gone too higher in compare to the last year and in coming months also we may see the price moving in a positive direction so its better to go for slow and steady method of making profits instead of taking risks in short terms.

DGB is currently at a lot lower than its true value, so its good for investment. Same is the case with Ripple I feel, And if you want quick profit, then NEM is going towards the heights.

Agree, all coins has a potential but the only problem is the trades , the ask and bids somewhat the coins is just sleeping and waiting on the whales to wake them up and if that will be the case and if it will wake up then that will be the best time to trade on that potential coin. Some of the coin’s price suddenly goes to the moon, but quickly drops down and will not come back to such increase or take more time to recover. That is the situation of scam coins. Because if you want to deal with trading you also need to consider the stock of the coin where you could know whether you can have a profit out of your tradings or not. It could be also good if you are going to track every transaction you make so that whenever you have a partial trading you know whenever you would earn or not to avoid loss on your investment and to have more profit on future purposes.

well for me as of today i trade ETC in bittrex and some markets and also ethereum, though ethereum has some issues right now but still it is the best coin to trade for this month for me, it is in the lowest price of it.

ETC and LTC is for long term dude. You can not easily get profit from 1 week by these coins. They are really good and if you are a true holder, you will surely earn a huge amount of money from ETC and LTC. ;)

I do not understand the reason make Ethereum Classic raise up while the price of Ethereum decrease from 0.08x BTC to 0.07x.
As per my experience, the price of Ethereum Classic usually = 1/10 the price of Ethereum, maybe this is reason make Ethereum Classic recovery.

I think SGG is very potential, although currently there is no exchanger, but I am very sure this coin will be popular. if I'm not mistaken, thats value is : 5000 SGG = 1 ETH. I think it's a very promising value, for trading or for holding.

It is really hard to determine which coin is better. However, invest in coins that have amazing teams and with great proposal, especially they are solving real world problems. Also, it is great to diversify your coins to different field as you may not know when is the next popular field that will suddenly x10. Just like recently, a lot of the privacy coins shot up in values. Another popular field is decentralise exchange, so 0x and kyber multiple its values immediately after listed.
