Title: [AUCTION] Hasbro Star Wars R2-D2 Interactive Astromech Droid
Post by: clienttell on June 24, 2017, 08:32:32 AM
Selling my Hasbro Star Wars R2-D2 Interactive Astromech Droid

Age 8+.

He is NEW, however I pulled him out of the box a few times.
Couple of times when I brought him approximately 3 years ago and now to take photos, change batteries and test it to make sure he is working.

First two photos from the internet. All other photos are of the R2-D2 for sale in this auction.

All other times he was in his original box. Box is in good condition (has some sellotape on it). Instructions included.

He is approximately 40cm tall.

Love my R2-D2, selling as I would like to get familiar with Bitcoin and play around with Bitcoin.

This is a collectible and no-longer available in the shops. If no serious offers I will keep him on my shelf.

He is most amazing robot you will get.

Retail Box is big. Will post only via courier. Will quote actual courier cost for the successful bidder. Courier cost can also be paid in Bitcoin.

Auction with no: starting bid, minimum increments, starting nor end time ??? Are you sure you aren't just selling him?

Unless it's a contract an auction is just a tool used to negotiate price

That seems like a very awesome droid

Shipping to my country would be a bummer though :D

Good luck to whoever buys it , would love to see some videos of it for sure

No "fielding offers" would be better.  An auction is not and should not be used as a tool to negotiate price.  Ive never won an auction elsewhere that when i won someone just when nah gimme $50 more then we got a deal. Ever

if this is an auction I guess I could start it at 0.01BTC, although there isn't any information about the details we need.

We should bid in single satoshis I bet.

Hi Guys,

Sorry if it was not clear in my original post... just the first time I have posted an auction. I looked at some previously listed auctions and did the same in making my post.

It is not a problem shipping to any destination. I would get the raw (actual) postage cost and you can pay it with Bitcoin. If anyone wants an indication as to how much it would cost then please let me know a state and country and I can look up the cost.

This is a really nice collectible toy / actual robot the can interact with voice commands etc. It is no longer available in shops. If you are a Starwars fan like myself then you would appreciate its value.

In further answer to some questions above... some one had started the bidding price at 0.01B. Lets set the increments at 0.15B. I know its worth and will mention in a posting once a reserve has been meet... same as typical auction sites.

Thanks

Welcome here, always like to see new faces and products.  If you would like to have a successful auction then i will offer a couple of pointers.

Set your terms of the auction:

End date, end time, starting bid, bid increments (i dont think you meant to have .15btc incremnts that quite hefty), and also being that you are new and no history it will be vital to offer escrow (to keep the buyer safe from potential scam).

This is a unique item in here and might or might not get the attention/bids you would like to see.  I would recommend starting the auction at the lowest you are comforable selling for in case it does not recieve the amount of bids as say ebay would get.  Good luck with your auction  :D

I agree with Wheelz - Take a look at Minerjones' auction threads - I usually copy/paste his threads into my own auctions, as it's so perfect! :D

I think you should start a new fresh thread for the auction but the end time is wrong unless someone has a time machine
