They mostly have maximum number of wallets under maintenance and some wallets take weeks to work which makes it difficult to deposit/withdraw the altcoins. The market is also very small and orders don't get fulfilled fast. Support is not that responsive as well. It's better to invest few coins to try with the exchange and not store all your coins on the exchange. If your altcoin is present on other exchanges like liqui and bittrex, better use that.

Post by: ethereumhunter on June 24, 2017, 04:09:14 PM yobit is a trusted market. in yobit you can found many altcoins with cheap price and i think its a good place for new people which want to start for trading and using small amount. but you need to be careful because in yobit, you don't know what will happen with the coins and you can hold it too long before you can sell it if you pick the wrong coins.

There were some bad rumors happened in the past but I feel this exchange is normal however some wallets are usually under maintenance. Although volume of trading on Yobit is quite low in comparison with another exchange such a Poloniex but this place where altcoins dev trust for listed their coins on it :) Title: Re: YObit !? I traded a lots of times there, withdraw many times btc, eth and doge without any problems. Title: Re: YObit !? Post by: bitbollo on June 25, 2017, 04:30:29 PM most of the problems with this exchange are from wallets option. people have really difficult to sync in the right time, and they have big difficult to trade fast and easily. Normally I use deposit/withdraw just btc/eth/doge/ltc, so the major altcoins, because I don't like any issues with small altcoins (with volatile price).
Anyway their exchange is not bad, probably as already explained the only problem is related to wallet maintenace (and run too many alts). |
