I want to know if Bitcoin will go up to 3000$ today or still have problems in passing the gate?

And what is the best decision for now?

if you check the price of bitcoin now, the price is somewhat dipping to below $2600 now. So I doubt that it can hit the elusive $3000 mental barrier that we are all been waiting for. Yesterday we are at $2700 but seeing the price going down today will mean that it will take another week or two. Best decision for now is not to panic sell but to hold on your bitcoin. Because if you sell today, you may miss the opportunity of getting more profit once $3000 is hit. So just stay cool for now and not make a move to push the sell button. Just my .2 BTC

Best decision to do now is to buy, the price now is down. And while it is still early buy at dip because it will recover immediately. As I observed at this new floor price of bitcoin is making the recovery very fast. Not the same from the past crashes of bitcoin's price, there is hard time for it to recover. We will be there, just be patient.

As of now the price of bitcoin down at 2600 dollars and i think it is the right time to buy bitcoin because for the price will see 3000 dollars each bitcoin because halving is near.

And what more spoonfeeding is, you are asking too what is the best decision? I suggest to explore new things to deal with your future plans rather than to make a questioned like that. You can even answer it just by looking at the price chart since the concern is today.

If you already have bitcoin you can hold it or sell it but if you expect bad things after segwit action, you better sell it. Otherwise, hold it.

At any moment bitcoin can become 3000$, this will depend on the demand of the bitcoin users.
Because like what others thinking about in bitcoin it will become 5000$ before end of this year.

Bitcoin has been constantly avoiding the 3000 USD mark and this is not bad at all. It would just seem like some people are just too hasty about Bitcoin price increasing. Wait, that is the perfect term for this case.

I was thinking the same thing. It is highly probable since Australia will accept Bitcoin on that very month.

It seems you didn't even check the current price as at the time the thread was created because if you had then you wold know the possibility of that happening has just got slimmer in the past couple of hours and even currently still struggling to get to $2700 mark but that does not mean it cannot happen and that should better be backed with reasons and fact unlike mere speculations and expressions of opinion based on subjective feelings.

Yesterday no, today definitely not. But if you are patient,  something in the next couple of months it will surpass $3000 and stay there for a while.

It is just reacting like $1k price which got sentimental hurdle and it took so long to break it but when it broke it the next stop was above $2600 price so i think if once the $3k price hurdle is cleared we can see price above $4500 price which is quite possible.

We have to wait a little longer. Bitcoin has a good movement to keep on increasing all the time. But 3000 $ is still high enough to be achieved. Some positive news will continue to boost the bitcoin price steadily.

there has been a surge of investors with all the good news which happened this year a couple of months ago which meant a lot of adoption and the price rise that we witnessed. but adoption is not something that can rise big constantly. it is a slow ongoing process. sometimes it speeds up with some news and then goes back to normal speed.

for $3000 to break we need another good news. many believe that SegWit is going to be that news and if it takes 2 more month of the same price without going down much you can expect $4000 be the new price that we test by the end of this year.

This time we may need to have patience to get the $3000 mark. Today the price have shown a downtrend and has once again started to move upwards. Also the price fluctuations is happening between certain price tags. So we might need to wait for few weeks to reach $3000.

At this point there is no real 'news' that can get the price to boost other than;

# The ETF review results in a miraculous approval - chances for this to happen are extremely slim.
# Miners finally allow Segwit2x to activate - likely before the end of Juli.

I see no justification in the price to hit the $3000 level without at least the latter mentioned scenario becoming reality. We are doing exceptionally well maintaining current levels, taking the overbought market into consideration. I don't mind the price not having properly broken through the $3000 level yet. It will happen when the time is right...

Other people doubting to buy on this current rate since they think the price for now is so high but if they calculate and think what happen on the past surely they can get some ideas on what will be the future happening on bitcoins and this coin will surely go up harder since there are more adoption happening on it and this one should be the main basis for those people who's doubting to stake right now.

The price tends to being motivated with the rise in the number of users and investors who are pouring more and more cash into this and increasing its value, so it may reach $3000 anytime and there won't be any surprise to anyone who are optimistic about it, but haters gonna hate and they will surely regret they didn't believe in it. This seems to me as a reverse correction but the price won't remain the same even if it crosses it out because it will come down once again and stabilize at ~$1500 and start its rally again till next year, that's what I see through the indications here.

If enough people hedge against what might happen on august 1st, then august 1st is the day we go over 3000 as the outcome is determined and funds quickly reinvested back in will cause a pump.  As with other uncertain events people hedge days before and the pump happens immediately after the event and reported news.

Totally agree! Bitcoin is the only coin made for perfection, it is an outstanding coin not just because of investment reasons, even if the price goes down over $1500 or $1000 it will just make more demand as investors will take the opportunity to buy some while the price is low so the counter part of buying now is the risk of value going down but it just means it will go down momentarily as the demand rise the value will rally to the top too. There is no stopping bitcoin, right now the only problem that it is facing is the transaction fee and confirmation problems.

Bitcoin won't go up today or tomorrow yet, it is still too early for whales to increase its price this month. Maybe a couple more months it'll try to surpass the $3000 mark but I'm sure it's not happening anytime now.

I am quite sure that it will go through the $3000 mark as soon as SegWit has been activated, but that will likely be next month ~ target is obviously before the 1st of August.

If anyone is still waiting for the price to go down in order to finally start buying, then stop waiting, and start accumulating as soon as possibe.

It's pointless to wait for the price to go down significantly, it won't happen. If you look back, then you'll notice that we have has 2 decent corrections already. I can't see a third correction become reality right now.

actually 3000$ are more then 20% of increase. If you think it's really hard to achieve in just one day!

It seems to me that you have some fantastic ideas about the bitcoin price for today. I understand that today the crypto currency was very Uranus has the potential But I think that it is not necessary to exaggerate this scale for the time being.

LOL. Bitcoin price is down right now. So its getting hard to achieved 3000$. I can agree with you that it will take more time to hit it. But for me, I can't predict when it be hit, because the price is really unstable. I think the best option is just to wait for it to happen. Just need to be patience. Otherwise, you might sell if this price can't be hit.

Yes, now price is downing. It probably hit 3000 end year, none can know when it happen. Hope to bitcoin the future money we all use.

i think we can't hit it , bitcoin is dropping now like hell mygod. i cant believe this will happen . it drop over $500 its a big thing and now it's continuing on it drop that's the most unfair part about bitcoin the moment you stack your money and still wont pull out and then after some day it been drop that you thought will pump.

I think it will not go up to 3000 usd per bitcoin now, not today, not tommorow and not this month...maybe before this year end or next month. As we can see bitcoin price bacame almost stable lately. And regarding on what to do I suggest it is better for us to buy more bitcoin and hold it for a long time so that when the time it price became enormous we could get more profit.

Seeing the price as well as its activity from the past few days up to now, it doesn't appear that it is moving higher very often and it is still having a hard time to pass on the said price . Maybe it will take a few months before it can successfully hit and break $3000 price and I am expecting for it to happen in the month of august or maybe september .

It is actually dropping and I think price will bounce back once it touch $2300 mark which was bottom on recent drop.

Best decision for now is to buy back some cheap bitcoins with all fiat you have in your hand.

Hoping that it can be bounce back since we do not know what will be happen next. Look at the chart in coinmarketcap almost all crypto currency are down while bitcoin is decreasing the other altcoin was decreasing to instead of they are having other path. .

Probably not today, but hey this is cryptocurrency everything is possible. Maybe we will see $3000 by the end of the year. That is very realistic. We'll see when the market decides to bounce back after yet another bloody red day.

Not unlikely, but if we look at how things have been developing in terms of a workable scaling solution, it would be a damn shame if we happen to see the price fall below the $2000 level. If we maintain our position above the $2000 level until SegWit gets locked in and not long after that activated, I expect that it's very likely that we will not see sub $2000 levels again, unless we get to deal with more drama, but that's a concern for later....

You've missed  that highest peak? Bitcoin couldn't pass $3000 wall yet. People already made nice profits from the last ATH obviously. And it takes some time to get back at that point, maybe after blockchain blocksize problem resolved and we will moving forward over $3000. So, prepare your funds to buy at this cheaper price before bitcoin start to rise up again.

The rate in last few days are declining and some investors took that in positive way. A chance to buy btc in low price. Hope after this hell week there's an immediate rise. Can't wait to happen that.

I was confident that it will make up to $3,500 but it didn't happened. Probably we will see bitcoin's price hit $3,000 on August 1.

This is a second-second initial steps for bitcoin price value increasing rapidly but for now this is the price of the bitcoin still show on the $2600 but I am confident and believe that the price of the bitcoin will try stepping on wal this month with $3000. surely this will happen on the movement of the bitcoin quickly :D ;)

Not really going to happen today. What is most likely to happen is bitcoins price will be hitting back first $2,600 but theres a certain barrier that is stopping it to get back again there. But just hold on as theres a lot of good news there, establishments and food chains are showing interest and are ready for adoption.
