I am proud to announce my simple idea of a so called MersenneCoin. :) As you all should know prime numbers are natural numbers greater than 1 that has no positive divisors other than 1 and itself. Mersenne primes are primes written in the form (2^n)-1 for some integers n. If you want to learn more about primes just take a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mersenne_prime (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mersenne_prime). Quote Since 1997, all newly found Mersenne primes have been discovered by the “Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search” (GIMPS), a distributed computing project on the Internet. This project just offers to be the one who discovered a new prime number... but what I want to offer you with this project is earning as well so called mersenne primes as bonus for "mining" mersenne primes. But all this is currently just planned and I need you to help me starting this project. I currently need somebody to "create" the coin but without walletbuilder or something like this if possible. So I currently need a wallet for saving the "mined" MersenneCoins, I need a mining software that should search quite as effective as possible. As well the other common things like a blockexplorer (or prime explorer in this case). Yes, there is a coin named prime coin but they don't care about mersenne primes only as this project will. :) Primecoin used to have some traction although now it's pretty much lost most of that. I remember when it was in the top 20 in terms of marketcap (it may have been too 10). Having been said newer technologies have been released and coins with greater purpose have taken away most of its need. What do you think will make your broader coin any more successful? |
