Incredible how unreliable Coinbase can be at times. Also shocking that there is a lack of decent alternatives. Title: Re: Coinbase is Down... As for the alternatives, we have plenty of them like Kraken, Bitstamp and others. It's not recommended to rely completely on them honestly, you should be familiar with trading with individuals face to face, on the forums or using ATMs because these exchanges could get hacked anytime. Not to mention that you should never store large amounts there.
Title: Re: Coinbase is Down... Again Post by: EXtremeAEX on June 26, 2017, 07:45:30 AM I think as an exchange it is still good, but not as a wallet. Don't store large amounts in online wallets, especially before Aug 1st, best to keep it in a client. :)
Right now its back up again (https://status.coinbase.com), I still trust CoinBase, but not with all my coins. :D |
