Of course it's fake. There's no proof. He's trying to manipulate people. WAVES is going good. I'm not an investor but this type of FUD should be reacted by whole forum.

I don't lie. They have not sent my bitcoin for 7-8 hours without making a rational explanation but it has arrived now

So, they didn't steal your coins. You got them. You are just impatient.

How did you lose money if you did end up with your BTCs?  Doesn't make sense, just FUD.

Similar thing happened to me too. My BTC what I sent to my Waves wallet was in the limbo for a long time, before the transaction went trough. As it turned out I did not set the BTC transaction fee high enough to be a temptation for miners :/.

This is a Bitcoin network problem and has nothing to do with Waves platform. As long as your transaction does not have enough confirmations it will not be credited on your Waves account as WBTC tokens.
I recommend to always check https://bitcoinfees.21.co before you send a Bitcoin transaction. The site shows what amount of fee you has to add and how long it takes with a particular fee.

Never heard of this particular one, but the truth is you should never, ever use any unknown exchange to trade or store Bitcoins as it is only a matter of time until you lose them (usually get stolen). I personally lost a lot of Bitcoin this way, although forget the name of the exchange. I also lost a lot when Cryptsy closed.

You should change the title of this thread now since you got your bitcoin.  Probably the problem is the bitcoin confirmation not the Waves Decentralize Exchange crediting your bitcoin.  I would say to here this guy when sending Bitcoin...

And as I said change the title already since it does not apply anymore.

I sent mail waves support. and answer... :'(

Thank you for the provided information!

At the moment withdraw requests are processed manually (This is a temporary situation).

Anyway I have sent transaction details to gateway administrators, and as soon as payment will be processed by gateway administrators, you will immediately receive your funds. Please, wait.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

It's not Waves problem but Bitcoin...I really hate this kind of people screaming scam without any reason at all. The user should get banned  and topic erased.

Don't blame the Waves platform for that. It is the scaling problem with the Bitcoin network. A sufficient number of miners did not confirm the transaction. This is why the transaction took so long. Basically, the miners were not tempted enough with your transaction fee to commit to confirming your transaction.

Next time before you send the transaction check this website: https://bitcoinfees.21.co
It tells you the cheapest and fastest transaction rate. At the moment this sits at 390 satoshis/byte. But this is variable according to the different circumstances. Thus it is necessary that you check this website before each transaction.

Waves is not an unknown exchange, currently decentralized exchanges are not very popular but that could change, to be honest this seems to be FUD the op did indeed receive his coins on his wallet after some time, this seems more like a problem with the speed of confirmation than anything related to waves and their platform.

I hope they don't. Actually this thread is rather useful and informative for folks who experiencing similar slow transactions when trying to send BTC to Waves wallets. At least they'll know that they are not alone, nobody scammed them, and this is a Bitcoin issue.

It's indeed not a Waves issue, but a gateway issue with fee & confirmation time.

Waves itself is decentralized, but their is no existing way to have a decentralized gateway (this for any coins that use IOU tokens).

Anyway, glad to hear the OP got the wBTC tokens... like the others ...

I've heard some ICOs work with waves so, should we be cautious? Anyway this is the first time I hear a bad feedback about waves.

Don't know if you can't read or what? It's not Waves bad feedback it's Bitcoin fault. And yes there are some interesting ICOs on Waves platform and more to come.

Ive been using waves for quite a long time now some site that i join to earn tokens require waves flatform. I didnt have any problem with waves since then. Maybe theres something wrong on your part why that happen. Do check your transactions and you cant really trace whats wrong then contact support.

The problem wasn't with bitcoin. It was with waves. They didn't send my bitcoin from the platform for 8 hours. What is the connection with bitcoin?
Besides waves said that the support problem stemmed from them and apologized.

Maybe they were thinking of delayed BTC transaction confirmation.

Anyway, since you already got your coins and waves support apologized for the inconvenience it caused, I think this case is now close. You should edit the content of the main post about what happened, even the title to avoid confusion. It was all clear that they did not steal your coins and just have a delayed manual process of withdrawal.

Centralized exchanges will always steal your coins. Use Blocknet`s decentralized exchange. You always keep your private keys. Their exchange goes live by the end of July:
