Title: Is it possible to make 3x 295X2 working in ONE Rig?
Post by: David047 on June 26, 2017, 05:41:50 PM
Hey,
like my question says I have three of these monsters in my system running. However, it is impossible to make the third working. I tried every PCI connection and riser adapter but the MSI Z170A will shut down one of three I have 3 on the mobo (most of the time the middle one). After a few seconds it will turn on the GPU again but nothing in the device manager. I had different results sometimes just black and white sometimes the screen keeps changing the resolution until I have to restart. Any idea how to make three running? ???

back in 2014 i have tried 2 cards like that... those are REALLY HUNGRY MONSTERS indeed, 350W per card stable so 2 were taking 700-750 per 2 + mobo, cpu, ram, etc...i think it was like 850-900W at the wall... dam thing was sucking mu circuitry out...and i got SAUNA... so, being said that, my question is - how do you feed them ?
