If you check today and yesterday posts regards the crash in crypto market you can find many panic members that sold or wanted to sell their entire poftfolio in lose.

Almost every oldschool crypto forum member advised not to do so, not only that the biggest advise was to buy now when prices are low.

So let it be a lesson to learn.

Half of my portfilion is back to Green mode, and tommorrow we might even see major corrections and probably new records on weekend.

it really sucks to see prices decrease so much cause you know so many newbies are selling, i held didnt sell a thing, its something i had to learn the hard way, whales will never stop this type of behavior until people learn which may be never lol.

Not everyone believe in technology the way we do. I always get asked about cryptos when prices are up.

Indeed, they panic sell, which is the worst emotional newbie mistake you could make.  Weak hands they call that.

Me, I converted some bitcoin into Dash and even though I'm down right now, I don't regret it.  I think it and a lot of other coins are poised to explode, because there's big, new money flowing into the market and we've got more growth coming.  Be optimistic and don't make stupid trading mistakes like that.

Panic selling is what makes most people the best profits lol.

I did my shopping 12 hours ago (XEM/BURST/BAY/ANS) and some others when all was really low. even some ETH and it goes up as we speak.

It might take 1Trillion market cap to get more stable, I guess it will happen next year.

Those are panic seller, they are also whales who got panic when someone spread fake news like vitalik died in car accident. Or they were selling their altcoins to invest in some incoming ICO.

I'd be much more worried if the prices never went down. A correction niw and then means that the market is healthy

What about not selling btc but diversify it in some serious altcoins ? Is it worth or risky than keep btc ?

Yeah I either hold or buy more if I can. This is classic whales and seasoned investors taking profits and shaking out the newbies. I know I used to panic sell and get screwed when the price tripled. But live and learn sometimes you have to lose some money and learn the hard way.

Maybe some of them make a wrong prediction, because of the long term dropping they became panic and sold all their coin, and some of the coin won't ever rise again, so it's not 100% totally wrong movement, but some coin need patience to earn and with the correct coin to invest you don't need to be panic, it will go up again just need to wait a bit longer

i feel sorry for those who have no sense of timing the market.

• the time to buy was when prices were still low and not at all in a bubble. and when everyone was saying nothing will happen ever
• the time to sell was when prices were still in a bubble on top and everyone was saying buy, buy buy because prices will go another 100%-1000% up and idiots were bag-holding
• the time to stay away is when prices are falling and everyone is either panic selling or running around calling a dead cat bounce "green"

The indicator in my Android trading app is still red as well as what happens in http://coinmarketcap.com/. Eventually, there'll be a price increase at the end but it's not wrong to sometimes the whole crypto world's getting dumped.
Those panic sellers is a natural thing to happen, there's no point of bragging about it but put your efforts changing people's opinion.

While price's going down if you can sell on time then that's ok. But if you are late to sell your coins on time then you should know to wait enough rather than loss money. You must be very lucky to pick the right time to sell or buy though.

Those weak hands most probably are newbies when it comes to trading, bitcoins price went down yesterday and so did the altcoins. Most of the altcoins went down as well, but for those who have strong balls and are strong enough to not be tempted selling their profits well I salute to all of you for not selling you coins.

Go against the herd, buy low sell high, never buy high sell low. If you made a mistake of buying high in the first place, then don't panic. Wait for the next pump cycle to come by. I know that it may seem like it's the end of the world when everything is red every single day but eventually, there will be optimism. And when there is optimism, wait for it to nearly peak and sell just before it becomes mania to be safe.

Though I'm bearish with the altcoin sector in general right now, so not sure how long this green portfolio of yours will last. Either you have excellent choices, or is just lucky because my portfolio is still red :|

And that's mainly because bitcoin dropped much less than the alts did..
Alts got hit double. First by the declining bitcoin price and then by panic sellers who were trying to move to bitcoin as fast as possible.

The market is still uncertain but I am in it for the long term. So no worries here.

I think market is uncertain from the start, it`s like that with all new things that need to adopt in this world. Almost after a year in trading I understand why its best to buy in times when everything is red, and when you see everything is going down its the right moment for shopping. I also keep my alt`s and I don`t plan to sell anytime soon, in next period I`m waiting drops like this one to buy more and to make my stash bigger and bigger after each drop. Here some people feel panic too fast, they see red and they think game is over, I`m more stable person, gambling teach me to stay cool even when everything is hot.

love the panic selling shopping days... bit tight this time hoped for a bit more 20-30% drops are not as much as they could be...

I notice a lot of people are catching on too.... the ones that have proven tested useful code and developers are dropping less than the dreams and talk we will solve issues worthy of nobel prize projects.

the next phase will be the sorting of the viable vs non viable projects... of course you will always have a few out and out gamblers willing to give btc for dreams and talk.

Everything is on sale but what do these noobs do sell everything. They will be back when everything is at all time high.  When are they going to learn.

Well thats a part of a healthy trading ecosystem which we can see there are movements of a particular coin and we cant just see coins that its price always goes up.We should really expect for dips since on this thing we can really make money out of it if we do know what to do. Panic selling is really just normal when a certain investor would see that prices are falling they will normally cut loses.

that's the problem with people who didn't find time to do their research since the market moves like this its better to assess before doing an action
a mistake will make you lose your investment so its better to hold and keep away from the exchange when your portfolio is moving down never to
panic unless theirs sudden news that affecting the movement.

I often use TabTrader but never really sync it to my exchanges account for the security reason of course (actually, not intended to), but there's a bunch of many other applications if you search on the same category.

buying now is pure madness!
what will you earn anyways? 5% profit! and how much risk will you take?
at times like this when price is falling hard it is best to stay away and enjoy the 1000% profit that the pumps gave you and don't bother risking any of it for a small additional profit.

Sometimes HODL is a newbie strategy as well and panic sell is a key to profit.

Never buy on peaks because of FOMO and never sell on dips because of panic.  Is a better strategy.


Therefore today nothing is  green ,based on coinmarketcap info. So we still can go down again, anytime.

I just wish I had sold my coins when the pump was at its highest now i still have profit only not as much. ;D

Greed and fear is a fundamental of exchange market.

it is easy to say this now that price has dropped and is dropping. now you change face and say "never sell on dips" but not so long ago (actually 2 days ago) you were singing about how ether is going to $1000 and how it was the "last chance to buy it"


so you are either lying through your teeth every day with a new lie or you are already in a big loss because you bought into the bubble on the very top.

If You did not panic, why didn't you sell at 350 dollar or 300 dollar?
You got into panic of lower prices. It is good that you bought at 120 dollar and sold at 230 dollar. But soon you will regret.
Soon the prices will rise again. It is just a correction and these fluctuations are normal. We had seen these reduction in prices several times. It is not something strange.

Actually a lot of the sales are the result of stop-losses being triggered (and I'm pretty sure that some of the drops were triggered by whales deliberately to set off an avalanche of stop-loss selling, which they benefit from by having buy orders at lower prices.

Yeah, it's like the oldest trick in the world, used in the stock market since the dawn of time. Since Crypto is so ridiculously volatile, it works like 10x better. You should NEVER ever be leveraged in this things (Sorry for captain obvious, but some places allow you to do that. Really. This happens)

Your honest opinion about a coin should be the reason to hold it, not 'cause it will go to the moon, just because you like it/use it.

Holding a shitcoin is not a reason  promote it.

its all red now, and im still holding mine. i dont panic still chillin. but because its price is low i will probably buy and add it to my current coins so when the right time comes and they are all green and make enough profit on it, that is the time that i will sell all of it :)

The only way to invest in this stuff is to buy a bunch and then just not check it for a couple months. No sense freaking out on every dip.

For some reason people forget that it is a normal thing for crypto to go for the roller coaster rides at times. It's an old story.

I know some one that put 50K/month in crypto. no trading, nothing.

PoS is coming and any ICO is also coming.

It is not wise to sell ETH once droping, at least keep it for ICO.
If possible then you have to buy more.

I think we are now in the fase that newbies who buyed high and still panicking giving a second chance to sell there coins with less loss. They will be hurt twice when it goes up.

But the risk/reward ratio for the $1bn+ coins seems not that good right now.

Viacoin big chance for a slingshot with segwit announce. Price is stable even without big changes.
