Post by: BTCIV on June 27, 2017, 12:55:00 PM
Reddit poloniex : https://www.reddit.com/r/PoloniexForum/
combined whit other forums and media sources is clear that there are hundreds of people having problems now.

Everyone should be cautious and don't play whit too mutch money on it for now.
And the fact that no official answer regarding all this issues especially whit withdrawals is very very strange to me. Stay safe

Made a bitcoin withdraw request yesterday, was processed immediately and confirmed next block.

Which coins are giving problems?

The eth withdrawals were a bit lagged, but they came every time.

I have met some problem about withdrawing my ETH from the Poloniex, I hope this lag can be solved.

Yeah it took them about 24-32 hours to send me the Ethereum, but it got there in one piece.

I didn't trade ETH, but for other alts the deposits and withdrawals were okay.
One deposit needed "extra help" (ticket), last week (and I've got access to that money with some delay), but I've made other deposits and withdrawals since then and they all went without issues.
So imho Poloniex is still OK.
Don't forget to use 2FA though, since I've read a new horror story today about somebody that didn't use that..

I did ethereum deposit yesterday and there was not a single problem. I have never had much of a problem with withdrawals except for a few weeks back when the entire site was getting DDOSed or overloaded from traffic. In the end, service was restored.

I also had coins disappeared once due to that stop limit bug a month or so ago but I filed a ticket and they returned my lost coins after about 3 days.

Maybe my treatment is due to my verification level? (Level 3)

So far they have fixed all the problems I've encountered. But posts like these make me nervous. Is this fake news? lol

I am an old customer, but I don't have any verification there.
Some also claim that certain issues are handled overall, so a fix - generic or for somebody else - could have fixed your transaction too.
Or it's because you are an old customer.
Who knows? :)

polo is not safe. polo try to cheat me once before and i quite using them or worst your account will get hacked by hacker or insider just like this person; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1988476.0
polo is a messed right now with so many workers/insiders, so chance of this insiders hack your account is pretty high.

I think the problem is more to do with the currency than the exchange. Most problems are experiencing issues with ETH.
Poloniex is one of the largest exchanges today - the Mt Gox of our times. If anything goes wrong with it, we are in trouble.

well poliniex is legitimate but there are some inside job that they'll just do is to steal some money in your wallets .. i don't think is the employee of poliniex ,, it is still safe to use just for trading and not for holding some coins in long term

as i have red earlier, its better to make sure so i must say it is not as of now, i dont usually use polo, but to keep your altcoin and also your bitcoin safe, try to transfer it as of now at bittrex or other exchanging site which is safer.
