Dear, want to use my hd6950 for litecoins,

just instaled the new ati drivers from the website, but if i want to connect true cgminer.. it crashes
Everytime over and over again, what i'm doing wrong you think?

somebody knows why cgminers, all the miners just crash beforce mining?

Make sure you have the ATI APP SKD installed. This enables OpenCL. Ive found that often when miners are crashing its due to openCL not working properly. Download here: http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/heterogeneous-computing/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/downloads/

Mayber some old nvidea drivers playing hard and that causes crash?

Done format, instaled new drivers,  same with app.

Cgminer still crashes, same with other miners wtf..

WRONG.  google uninstall amd utility

then reinstall 12.8 drivers.  Make sure you have calm batch and ramp intensity of cgminer within program.  also look for that GPU allocation 100 line.  very importnant things

I`v had similar problem with 6850 and still have it. It would mine bitcoin but if I start guimener for litecoin it gives me driver stopped responding. Ati driver 13.4 SDK 2.5 it crashes instantly even at stock clocks.

Realy wierd, 12hours agoiwas farming with 8800gtx no probs and now this...

But not farming true cgminer not bitcoins,lite or ftc.

i run a hd6950 (sapphire) 1gb aswell.

400khash/s mining ltc @ stock clocks

tc 8000

ws 256

gpu threads 1

with oc no problem get it to 450 khash/s

try using cgminer (lastest version) or gui miner latest version.

13.1 or 13.4 both are working fine for me.

not at home, but mine reads

Scrypt -o blah blah blah

these two items are needed and they look like that.  1st line color, 2nd line items, 3rd max alloc, 4, the scrypt for connection, -i , sahder, and tc, with you care for them, did not see much of a point.

once it starts increase gpu intensity and up until a level you feel good about heatt, kh/s, HW errors, and rejects.  I do not think rejects really matter.

more a long poll issue than anything.

Maybe take out = signs.  I never use them really

I liek to start with intensity 13 and then g, i, 0, 18 within teh cg client

what does this do?  is this for cgminer and if so why isnt it a command line switch?
