Linda Support, May 08 19:31 (JST):

Hello,

We understand that the delay has been unacceptable. We are already in the process of increasing the withdrawal limit which we are expecting to be complete in the coming weeks. So please give us some time and the withdrawal should be processed soon. I have cancelled the withdrawal as requested.

Thanks,

MtGox.com Team"

in January mtgox said the same and nothing happend since then

Your unfortunate experience withdrawing your fiat funds aside, the alternative route you were forced to take is quite the endorsement of Bitcoin. Had your had funds tied up in a traditional ForEx broker, the chances are your money would be stuck in limbo indefinitely with little or no recourse available to you. The very fact you could move your Bitcoins to a completely separate exchange and liquidate them to fiat with comparative ease is quite cool.

Inept support (Marcus) who have been saying for months they will upgrade their limits but they haven't which means they can't. Simple.
So basically any EU customer of MTGox is screwed....

What about an international wire transfer?

+1

I've moved to Bitstamp for this very reason. I had withdrawls pending for eternity. Asked marcus to cancel, which he did with apologies, I rebought BTC (for a profit no less!) and transfered out to Bitstamp. SEPA payment next day.

I've also sold a couple on Localbitcoins as well. It's nice.
