Title: Need 100BTC "loan" --Risk Free, I explain inside
Post by: lyth0s on June 28, 2017, 04:08:53 AM
Hello,

I'm looking for someone with 100+ BTC in a single address. If you can sign a message for me I will pay you several hundred dollars. I don't need you to actually send me the BTC or anything, you keep them, 100% risk free. PM me for details.

Hmm. I think I know what this is (and I think most of the community already knows), this is surely for byteball drops. Which pays about 7mbtc for every 1btc if I am not mistaken, I haven't check how much byteball coins it gets per BTC. Yeah, it's risk-free but the one taking up the offer must store the BTC at that address until the time they distribute the byteballs.

Also, if they would want to profit from this then they sure will just do it themselves, eh?

PM sent

I have sufficient USD to purchase 100 BTC at current rates. However my current investment appetite is to keep it in USD, so the timeframe will need to be short enough for this to make sense for me to do.

Why are you posting this in the lending section?

Hello,

I'm looking for someone with 100+ BTC in a single address. If you can sign a message for me and move them when I ask, I will pay you several hundred dollars. I don't need you to actually send me the BTC or anything, you keep them, 100% risk free. PM me for details.

Why are you posting this in the lending section?

Because I need someone to lend their use to me (sign a message, hold and move the coins when asked), I just don't need access to their private keys -- which is why this loan is risk free.

Actually it's 1GB for every 16 BTC and -at this thime- 1GB is worth about 0.31BTC, so it's around 0.019BTC for every BTC.
Signing this message (a GBYTE address) with a BTC address containing 100 BTC would give about 6.25GB or 1.94 BTC, so about US$5,000, not "several hundred dollars".

I really don't like the lack of information here. I don't think OP should profit from that.
A full disclosure would be appreciated and, if people want to use OP's service in order to avoid installing the wallet or to save time, then that's fine. But not just because they don't know what's happening.

So here's the information (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.0), or here (https://byteball.org/).

If you want to save some time and continue with OP's offer then go ahead...

I never knew it grew to that much. Well, that's why I wanted to point this out here when I replied. This is easy money for anyone and OP did not share even a single info where it will be used. That means OP would have profited

100 x 0.019 = 1.9 BTC easily if someone did do it. Then he'll be giving probably just $100 for the guy who will sign it. Profit!

No benefit for letting the OP do it. Just do it yourself.

There was a similar post like this before asking for someone to sign an address with 100btc for pretty much the same thing going on. No disrespect to OP but people shouldnt really do such a thing and maybe even should do it themselves because that could be coins going to them.
